A Vow To Cherish

A silent tear falls down her cheek.  She doesn't know how to feel.  Should she feel happy, sad, mad, overjoyed? She never thought this day would come.  Her tears fall more freely 1

He looks at her and asks himself what has he done to deserve this woman? The moment she came into his life seven months ago today, he has felt whole once more.  His heart no longer held an empty space and he was no longer confused about love for he truly felt it.2

He noticed her tears flowing down her pearly white skin.  His heart felt so strongly for this woman, that it was immeasureable.  He pulled her close at the waist and kissed her, hoping to ease her pain.  Little did he know that her tears were from joy,not pain.  She feels the warmth of his body close to hers.  She feels his heart beat underneath his shirt. She melts inside.  She truly loves this man and everything he stands for in her life. She can't wait to share her life with this wonderful, beautiful person. .  She feels his arms glide around her waist.  He presses his lips to hers and kisses away all her tears.3

A month has passed and it is their wedding day.  The sun is shining and the mockingbirds are singing their songs of love and hope.  She peeks her head out of her "hiding" place and glances at her future husband. She thinks he is the most handsome thing in this world. She stares at him for what feels like hours, but is only a few mere seconds..  When she first met him, she couldn't imagine loving anyone as much as she loved Mark.  After Mark's passing, she swore to herself she would never put herself in danger of a broken heart again.  She felt that she couldn't love anyone as much as she loved him again either.  She thought that she could not love anyone as strongly either. Love had broken her to the ultimate low, one she thought that she could never come back from..  She ducks back into her "bridal tent" before he catches her.4

He is thinking to himself that by the end of this day, she will be his bride, now and forever.  For this, he can't ever be thankful enough. He prays to the Heaven's above that she shall remain his now and forever. 5
