The not-so-innocent, innocent one. [Prolouge... more? Yay, nay?]

He drove Marik mad, that beautiful not-so-innocent one. Marik knew Yuugi's current boyfriend, Bakura, was abusing him. Only he and Atem seemed to notice the marks, the yellowing bruise on his neck one day, the split lips, the limps and even pain filled eyes. The rest were still cooing over the relationship, blinded by the 'love' that the two felt for each other.1

So, Marik and Atem, being as cunning as they both were, devised a plan. The two had gone over everything that could go wrong and counter-acted it, they got over every hurdle and every inch of the plan. After weeks of planning, finally on that dark saturday night, the plan was set in motion. 2

First off, just as planned. Atem told Téa to get Bakura out of the house with some 'gentle' persausion. (A/n: For the dumb ones, he forced her too by way of threatening. Of course, she forgot about it soon after.) Once that was gne, the two struck the two floored house.3

It was a beautiful place, by the sea and the house was painted a soft white, the borders of everything were in light blue and the curtains were a dark blue velvet. Marik searched every room downstairs and found nothing, the rooms where very clean but his powers as tomb keeper told him that blood was spilled and screams were screamed here.4

"Tomb Keeper." Came the deep voice of the pharaoh, which was clouded and shaking with anger. "Get. Up. Here." The voice growled.5

Marik's head turned and he grimaced slightly, his imagination was running wild and his heard was thudding three times per second. Marik exited the room he was in, blonde hair shining in the light, his deep blue eyes were fixed on the stairs.6

He clenched his fist, the tanned skin tightening as he did this, and bounded up the stairs, two at a time. He went into the room the pharaoh's voice had originated from and stopped sharply at the sight.7

The pharaoh was crouched next to Yuugi, Yuugi's beautiful face was was scrunched up as tears fell in liquid pearls down his pale face. Bruises, both new and old, littering the skin that they could see. The top he was wearing was torn at the chest and the jeans he'd put on was torn at the leg and waistband. 8

Two shackles were around his wrists and attached by chains to the wall. He was curled deeply in himself, his head against the wall as he trembled. The black, blonde and red hair of the pharaoh shadowed the boys face and his crimson eyes were on fire with anger. 9

"Aibou." The ancient gasped, his hand lightly went to the chains and he pulled them from Yuugi's wrists. Marik shook himself from his daze and went foward, he helped Atem picked the battered boy up and lay a soft blanket over the boy. 10

"And just what." Hissed a voice. "Do you think you are doing? Pharaoh. Marik."11

With a muted gasp, Marik turned to see Bakura standing in the doorway, his fists clenching around the belt in his hands.12

Author notes

Should I continue it or leave it as a one-shot?
Its obviously a Yu-Gi-Oh crossover.
Also! Info, did anyone actually know [I sure didn't] that Yu-Gi-Oh is Japanese for King of Games and Yuugi means games. Ironic, isnt it?

Any questions or anything? Just ask!

Please tell me what you think

Looks like a good story. Why the names "pharoah" and "tomb keeper"? Is the story set in ancient egypt? doesnt seem so coz yuugi is wearing jeans right? You should continue. I'd like to know what happens to yuugi and those guys when Bakura caught them

Somebodies never seen Yu-Gi-Oh then? x]
Ah, well. Its all a bit complicated. Basically, A 5000 year old pharaoh's spirit is fused into a puzzle, said pharaoh doesnt know anything about himself except he's was a pharaoh. Anywhom, the puzzle was broken apart and set inside the pharaoh's tomb, [which Marik is the keeper of, or his family is. basically his family were waiting for the pharaoh to return, as the return was prophecized.] and Yuugi's grandfather found the box which the puzzle was kept in, an amazing feat as anybody else who went into the pharaoh's tomb were always killed. But yeah, Grandpa Motou gets home and gives the pieces to his grandson.

Yuugi was the first person ever to solve the puzzle and released the spirit of the pharaoh, which bonded with him, sharing a body. The Ishtar family are keepers of the nameless pharaoh's tomb. In the story, the pharaoh got his own body after the gods gave him a choice. x]

And that is.. the answer to your question.. Yes? x] Cor... that took years!
