APB on USB

Once upon a time there was a small oblong black portable usb device that traveled from it’s usual home in the purple office to the lighter side of the orange blue dining room. 1

During this travel the small, oblong, black, portable, USB device left the comfort of it’s Mac pro for the promise of ease and comfort ability with one of it’s own kind – a portable computer, much like itself – the ibook. Upon reaching it’s destination, the small, oblong, black, portable, USB device was so happy to meet the ibook that it didn’t want to seem too forward and attach itself right away to the ibook. Instead it thought that it might just sit next to it until the ibook decided it was time to join.2

One day, the ibook was gladly ready for its first use in a long time, and looking forward to its new companion the small, oblong, black, portable, USB device. But everywhere that the ibook looked it could not find the small, oblong, black, portable, USB device. It looked across the gleaming glass tabletop, to the plush carpeted floor. Under the stacks of paper and catalogs and around the oranges stacked as a centerpiece. Nowhere could the small, oblong, black, portable, USB device be found and the ibook resigned itself to a life of loneliness, thinking that somehow, someway the small, oblong, black, portable, USB device had made its way back home to the Mac Pro. Little did the ibook know but the small, oblong, black, portable, USB device had gone missing not of its own accord but of some devious intervention...

Thank You. I think it's going to be a 'to be continued...' that will eventually be updated with the hopeful reappearance of the USB.
