Standing on the patio, Savitar’s body was silhouetted by the moonlight. Staring out over the valley, he appeared to be looking at nothing. He’d had the dream again, but this time managed to hide most of his emotions upon waking. Since Aiden had mysteriously been able to feel his anger in the past, he didn’t want to load that on her while she was sleeping, so he carefully slipped out from under her body and made his way out of the room. 1
So lost in thought, he didn’t realize Aiden was coming until she was only a few meters away. “Did I wake you?”2
“Sort of,” she said, approaching. “What’s wrong?”3
Tell her, his mind demanded, while another part threatened to squash the ‘good conscience’ into dust. The image of an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other flashed through his mind, and he had to fight the urge to smile at that. Yeah, tell her. Go on, Sav, the ‘devil’ goaded the ‘angel’. Tell her all about how you went on a rampage. That’ll go over reeeaaaal well. 4
“It’s quiet here,” he said instead, still not looking at her. “I like it.”5
Sighing slightly, Aiden turned and went back in to the chalet, knowing that she’d get no real answers from him right now. 6
“Babe?”7
Turning, she looked at him. “Yes?”8
”Would you like to sit out here with me?” he asked as one large lounging chair appeared behind him. 9
Surprised at the request, and touched that he would include her while he seemed so detached, she vanished from where she was, and appeared beside him. Lowering beside him after he sat, she snuggled against his body as an arm went around her.10
“You need a pool,” he whispered, then went back to staring at the dark sky.11

Going through the memories gained from the ex Dark-Hunter’s mind, Roan quickly discarded any thing that wasn’t relevant. The fact that the other three in the alley seemed to be frozen in place was very relevant, and could point to the reasons why a lot of Labeve’s hunters had been killed. Then again, Dom hadn’t been affected by it, prompting Roan to make a mental note to talk with Ash about the man. 14
From the memories, she could tell that Labeve was very quick, which she already knew, and favored using her claws, which seemed obvious from the kills she had done over the course of her history. The fact that the Dark-Hunter had lasted as long as he had with the demon impressed Roan, who had always discounted Artemis’ army as a bunch of pissed-off whiny humans who refused to die gracefully. 15
Dom had obviously been fighting a loosing battle, and would have most likely died had she and Tria not shown up. A small part of her held a bit of guilt for slamming him with the column of fire…even if it did eventually save his life.16
Going back to the immobility part, she tossed it over and over through her mind. “Tria?”17
Looking up from another internet site, Tria ran a hand over her eyes. “Yes?”18
“Why would a Dark-Hunter not be affected by something the same as humans, or gods?” 19
Giving a confused look, Tria bit her lip. “Is there a specific thing you’re referring to?”20
“Yes.” Walking to where her protégé was sitting, Roan sat on the corner of the large desk and looked down at her. “In the alley with Dominic…”21
“Okay,” Tria said, her memory going back a few days… to her at least. “What about it?”22
”The three humans were frozen in place,” the goddess said. “Yet it did not affect the Dark-Hunter. If this is what happens, then it could explain why so many have fallen to her.”23
“It would,” Tria agreed. “But some of the women have fought back, as we saw from the wounds. So maybe she freezes them until she nearly has the soul of the child, then unfreezes them?”24
“To what gain?”25
“Maybe she gets off on the whole deal and wants the mother to fight back?”26
“Could be. But it doesn’t explain how she gets control over some but not others.”27
“Maybe Dom’s precognition shunted her attempts,” Tria suggested. “Or maybe her powers won’t work on Dark-Hunters at all. I’m not sure about Artemis, but I don’t think Ash would leave any chance for something being able to easily seize control of the Hunters.”28
Roan was silent as she mulled it over. True, Dom had easily blocked her attempts at reading his thoughts, and that power could have stopped a command from a demon. As well, she had to agree with Tria about someone seizing control of the Hunters. Although one or two had fallen to such means in the past, Ulric in New Orleans being the most recent, she doubted it was a common occurrence. 29
Knowing that she would have to pay another visit to Dominic Olluein, and talk to the other three that were in that same alley, she stood from the desk. “Take a break,” she said. “You need anything, let me know and I’ll flash you there.”30
“Too bad I don’t have that little power myself.”31
”You’ll get it,” Roan told her. “Once you’re trained in all that you need to learn, then I’ll start bestowing the little perks upon you.” 32
Tria watched as she vanished, surprised and pleased that she would eventually be able to do that same little trick and not have to rely on others. Eventually, she’d be as powerful as some others, and a small part of her eagerly waited for that day.33
Speaking of powerful, she glanced at the computer screen, then stood and stretched, calling out for some information that she needed. 34

Shopping was something Angie always liked to do, and since Dom had given her a credit card without a limit, and with his blessings, she had a blast. Most of the things were practical purchases, like the changing table for the baby, and assorted things she’d need in four months when the baby was born… while other purchases were made just because she could make them. 37
Admiring the nail polish that she had gotten with the manicure and the facial earlier that day, she walked in to the living room and put her purse on the end table. Melissa had already gone to her home next door, surprised that Craig hadn’t called her in a meltdown over watching Amy alone for the first time. But, knowing Craig, he’d probably brought the infant over here the first chance, and relied on Dom for some help. 38
“Dom?” she called out, wondering where he was. Usually, he was one or two steps behind her, or right there as soon as she got home. It annoyed her to no end, but she found some comfort in his sometimes overprotective nature. She knew that he was scared about the pregnancy, and the fact that he was going to be responsible for another child… over a thousand years after he’d lost his first family. So, Angie cut him a little slack, but at times her shifting hormones couldn’t help but want to smack him. 39
“Hey Ang.”40
Whirling at the deep voice, she stopped and stared at the person she least expected to see at that moment. “Ash?” she said, giving him a smile. “What brings you here?” 41
“Had to talk with Dom, and he mentioned that you wanted to have a word or two with me.” 42
“Great,” she said. “I’ll cut right to chase, then. What’s it going to take to assure that my child’s future is secure?”43
”Is there something you’re worried about?”44
“Besides everything?” She sighed and started walking around the living room. “A year ago, I was blissfully unaware of the life Dom had…part of me wishes that I had just walked away after he told me the truth.”45
“Why didn’t you?”46
Shrugging, Angie didn’t reply as she stopped by the wall stand that held the multitude of dragon statuettes that Dom had spent centuries collecting. “I went from that confusion to watching him die in my arms, to saving him… then suddenly it’s like none of that ever happened, and he acts so…”47
“Normal?”48
“Well, yeah.” She faced him. “After I left my job at the café, he insisted that I finish my studies, and graduate from the massage therapist course, and get my certification.”49
“Sounds normal,” Ash pointed out.50
“Mostly it is, but there are times where he drives me completely crazy, and I just want to kick his ass.” She smiled lightly. 51
“Angie,” Ash said, taking a few steps towards her. “Dom’s had over a thousand years of altered living. He had to basically shield himself from certain aspects of the world, and it’s natural for it to go overboard when it’s finally available.”52
“Overboard?” Angie tilted her head in thought. “Sometimes, yes. At the beginning, he wanted to do it all… but you know what he did?”53
”What?” Ash asked, although he already knew. Even though he hadn’t been in touch since walking away from the pair that night, he’d kept tabs on them.54
Angie smiled. “Took me to the café, in the daytime, and spent hours sitting in a window seat, enjoying the sun and drinking coffee.” Sniffing as the memory threatened to bring tears, she glanced at the floor. “Then we just walked around the city until the sun set.” 55
“Sounds like a wonderful first day,” Ash said honestly. 56
“It was.” She smiled. “And then, I remember how he died, and that...thing… that he was fighting, and I know he’s scared that it’s still out there, and I’m scared, too. What if it wants revenge or something, and takes the baby?”57
Annoyed that he couldn’t see Labeve’s future, and assure Angie that it would never happen, Ash nodded slightly. “To me, it sounds like you’re having those first-time parent jitters. Grant it, there are a few more things out there that you know of than the usual parent, but knowing them gives you a little advantage.” 58
“Angie?” a filtered voice said the same time the large oak door that separated Dom’s former living quarters from the rest of the house opened. “Have you seen my-“ Dom stopped short when he realized Angie wasn’t alone.59
“Have I seen your what?” Angie asked. “And what were you doing back there?”60
Dom almost covered the wince, but Ash caught the guilty look on the former Dark-Hunter’s face. He watched as Dom breathed a few times, and could tell he was shoving down one of his legendary caustic remarks. 61
“A surprise,” Dom replied, his tone light. “I was just looking for my iPod.” He looked at Ash. “Hey Ash, nice to see you. Hints on where my iPod is before my lovely and pregnant fiancée follows through on previous threats and turns me in to a eunuch?”62
“I never threatened that!” Angie said.63
“You threatened to lop ‘em off,” Dom reminded as he walked over and gave her a kiss. “Have I mentioned today that I love you?”64
“Don’t tease the pregnant lady,” Angie said as she returned the kiss. “And your iPod is probably where you last left it.”65
“Music room,” Ash volunteered, amused, yet slightly jealous of the ease they shared. 66
“Thanks.” Dom started across the living room, then paused and turned. “You staying for a late dinner?”67
“I don’t-“ 68
“It’s barbeque,” Dom said wryly. 69
“You’re cooking?” Ash asked, surprised.70
“Uh, no,” Dom admitted. “I’m not ready to stand over flames yet.” He turned back towards the music room. 71
Ash looked at Angie as she watched her fiancé leave the room. For the past thousand plus years, Dom had avoided fire of any sorts, although lately he was making a big effort to overcome his fears. “Maybe I will come,” Ash said. “Mind if I bring someone?”72
“No problem with me,” Angie admitted. “Hopefully this one’s not like half the people I’ve met since I’ve been with Dom.”73
“Uh,” Ash said with a small laugh. “She’s definitely unlike anyone you’ve met.”74

~~~~~~~~~~~~76
He woke a few hours later with the familiar warmth of sun on his face, and the wonderful warmth of a body curled next to him. Expecting the beaches of Neratiti to greet him, Savitar blinked a few times when he realized he wasn’t where is thought he’d be. Looking down at Aiden as she slept, he went back to viewing the surroundings. 77
He’d never actually seen it in the daylight, and had to admit that Aiden picked a wonderful place for her home. On the side of a mountain, he could barely see the paved road that led to the house, and which was the only to get on to her property…well, the only way for someone not like him. High fences surrounded the ten plus acres, and gave the area an island like feeling. Now, all he had to do was convince her to install a pool, or beach, and it would be nearly perfect. 78
He could feel the moment Aiden awaked, and held on to her as she opened her eyes and sat up. “Morning,” he said.79
“Morning,” she replied, giving him a light kiss. “Feeling better?”80
”I always feel great,” he told her. “Grant it, I could use a morning surf, or swim …I’d even settle for dipping my toes in a stream.”81
“So, add a pool.”82
“Can I?” he asked, eager.83
“Sure,” she said, standing. ”You don’t need my permission.”84
He paused slightly. “True. But I want to have it all the same.”85
“Come on a before breakfast hike with me.”86
“A hike?” Savitar asked. “As in walking?”87
”Yes. I do it every morning before breakfast.”88
”In the woods?”89
“Usually.” Smiling slightly, Aiden took a step back. “Never mind.” 90
Savitar watched as she turned, and grimaced at the thoughts that nearly screamed at him from her mind. Selfish…sit and mope…whatever. “A hike sounds…great,” he said, putting as much enthusiasm into it as he could. 91
Turning, she gave him a studied look, then a small smile before walking away. He heard the door open and close, followed by the padding of her feet as she made her way down the small flight of steps that would take her to ground level. 92
“I have no idea what I’m doing,” he said to himself. 93
Savitar?94
Sighing at the expected voice in his head, he vanished from Aiden living room, appearing on a secluded park bench in the corner of a large park. A woman appeared in front of him, her shocked expression showing that she wasn’t expecting being whished away from where she was.95
“Grab a seat,” Savitar said as she continued to stare.96
Shaking her head slightly in annoyance, Tria sat on the other end of the bench. “New location for you, isn’t it?”97
“I know what you’re doing,” Savitar replied, not bothering to answer her semi-silent inquiry about meeting in a park instead on Neratiti. No way was he going to allow anyone to hitch a ride on his cosmic stream and arrive on his beach. Just thinking about the possibility made him more than pissed off. “I know who you’re working with, and I know what you want to know.”98
Tria stared for a moment. This was certainly not what she expected, and as she took a closer look, she noticed that although he seemed ultra-relaxed, that Savitar’s eyes were a vibrant shade of lavender, that seemed to pale to white for a fraction of a second before returning to normal. 99
Shrugging, Tria relaxed slightly, although the tension in the air prevented her from allowing herself to lower her guard. “Who is Labeve?”100
“Demon with a bad personality.”101
Well, that was a big help. Hopefully he wasn’t going to answer all her other questions with the same vagueness. “Where is she from?”102
“She’s Greek, originally. A noble woman who was pregnant, and lost the child because another noble woman didn’t want her to gain importance in the eyes of their gods.” He shrugged. “Distraught, she sought out some of the darkest magick available, and killed the other woman who was now pregnant. By literally sucking the life out of the unborn child… and pulling the mother’s heart out, she gained favor with another god who then offered her immortality. It should have been enough for Labeve, but her mind always was a little off, and she looked at all pregnant women as targets.”103
“Why?”104
“She lost a child that was destined for greatness, so none shall attain what hers was denied.”105
“You knew her?” Tria asked, suspicions weaving through her mind.106
“I’m not the god she was aiming to gain favor with,” Savitar replied, his tone showing that he wasn’t impressed with the unspoken implication. “And I’ve never met her.”107
Tria was silent for a few minutes while she digested all the information. “Why is she considered Celtic?”108
“She was… driven, shall we say… out of Greece, finding her way to a Celtic area, which really wasn’t that hard, since at that time, much of continental Europe was largely Celtic. Eventually, people caught on, and by making deals with beings even darker than her… and no, it wasn’t me… she was able to gain chronokinesis, and the ability to ride the rytis.”109
“Chrono what?”110
“Chronokinesis.”111
“And that would be?”112
”The skill to mentally manipulate time. Rytis would be time streams, basically. It’s what Were’s and Oneroi use to move through time and space. But she doesn’t need a full moon, or any additional things to help her jump through time.”113
“Why don’t you stop her?”114
“It’s not my responsibility.”115
She blinked at the easy way he said that. “Why?”116
”Because, Tria, it’s someone else’s destiny to stop her. If I step in…”117
“You’re destroying someone else’s future,” Tria finished for him.118
“Now you’re catching on.” Standing in one fluid motion, he looked at her. “That it?”119
“Why do you hate Roan?” She blinked as his eyes flashed to that eerie white for a brief moment. “Or… never mind.”120
“Good choice,” he replied, an instant before he waved a hand, sending her back to his antagonist.121
~~~~~~~~~~~~123
Melissa blinked as a tall man appeared off to the side in the huge back yard. Recognizing him from almost a year ago, she looked at the others, who didn’t even bat an eye at his appearance. Before she’d met Craig, she would have been freaking out right about now, but living with him, and getting to know the world he was involved in had taught her some fast lessons in the bizarre.124
“Ash,” Craig said, walking up to him as he held his three-month-old daughter in his arms. “This is Amy. Amy, this is the mighty Acheron.”125
Ash looked at the little girl who would one day give birth to the person who would hold a powerful future in her hands. Amy’s daughter was the one destined to save Bride Kattalakis’ life one day, which would result preventing a then war from wiping out the Were-Hunters. 126
“She’s beautiful.” Smiling at the infant as she stared at him, Ash glanced at Melissa before looking back at Craig. “Can I hold her?”127
Looking at his wife, who shrugged, Craig nodded. “Of course.” 128
Taking the baby carefully, Ash held her like he was a seasoned pro. “Hello, Amy,” he said in a gentle voice, and was immediately rewarded with spit up that covered the front of his shirt. 129
Giving a glare to Dom who was laughing, he looked at Craig. “Ugh.”130
“Oh, shit, Ash,” Craig said, his voice rushed. One did not spit up on someone like Ash. “I’m sorry,” he added, reaching to take Amy.131
“No harm,” Ash said as his shirt immediately changed to another one. “But no more of that, okay?” he asked a gurgling Amy. “Feel free to spit up on your Uncle Dom all you want, though.”132
“Trust me,” Dom said from the side. “She does.”133
“Angie said you were bringing someone,” Craig said as he walked away.134
“She should be here any minute,” Ash said as he took a seat on one of the benches that had been placed on the lawn. “She loves a barbeque.”135
At that, Dom looked pained. “Please don’t tell me it’s who I think it is.”136
“Who?” Craig asked. 137
A small flash cut off Dom’s reply, and he whimpered slightly at the sight of a young lady who looked to be no older than Ash. Dressed in a bright pink frilly see-through top over a black bustier, complete with a short bright pink mock-leather miniskirt, black and pink leggings, and spiked biker boots, she looked around in wonder. 138
“Simi,” Dom said, as if one of his worse dreams had come to life. It wasn’t that he didn’t like the demon…in fact, he thought she was hilarious and extremely sweet. It was just that she had a tendency to shoot fire out of her mouth, which still scared the hell out of him. 139
As her eyes landed on him, she let out a squeal that made him cringe. “Dominic!”140
Dom gasped as arms grabbed around him in a fierce hug, and he swore he could feel ribs pop. He looked up at Angie as she watched him with an arched expression, and gave her a guarded apologizing smile. 141
“The Simi hasn’t seen you in years,” she said happily. “Does you still hates fire?”142
“Yes.”143
“Then the Simi shall keep her flame to herself,” she said, bounding away. 144
“She hasn’t lost her exuberance,” he mentioned to Ash. 145
“Hope she never does,” he replied back, grimacing slightly as she bounced up to Angie. 146
“Hi!” Simi said. “I’m the Simi, and you must be Angie, the one that Dom had a crush on for years, but wouldn’t admit.”147
“I think so,” Angie said, confused. She looked at Dom, who smirked as he stayed where he was. 148
“Yous should go talks to him,” Simi said, stepping back. “I hear you’re a massage-ist, and I think the Simi might have hurt a few things when I hugged him.” 149
“Massage-ist?” Angie asked as she watched the young woman nearly run to where Ash was sitting. She gave Ash a hug, then gazed down at Amy who seemed to be entranced with Ash’s hair.150
“I should have warned you about Simi,” Dom said as Angie sat beside him. They were on the bench furthest from the barbeque, which Craig was manning. “I should have known it was her when you said Ash was bringing someone.”151
“Who is she?”152
“Far as I can tell, she’s Ash’s companion.”153
“Really?”154
“Not girlfriend,” Dom said. “I don’t think. More like someone that’s been with him for a long time. I remember her being there when he trained me.” 155
Growing silent, Angie leaned in to Dom, who wrapped his arm around her and held close. Surveying the group in the back yard, Angie sighed to herself at the strange way things turned out. She never would have imagined any of this, and was glad that she stayed with Dom, even though he gave her lots of opportunity to back out when she had first discovered his world. 156
“What were you doing earlier in your old rooms?” she asked, remembering. Since he gained back his mortality, Dom had rarely gone back to his darkened corner of the world after he’d moved everything to the upstairs area. 157
“A surprise,” Dom replied. “Told you that already.”158
“For me?”159
“You’re going to have to wait.” He smiled. Bringing her hand up, he kissed the scar on the palm that she received from the amulet while returning his soul. “And no peeking later tonight when you think I’m asleep.”160
“Precognition sucks,” Angie pouted. 161
Laughing, Dom gave her a kiss. “Just... give me a day or two to finish up, and I’ll show you,” he promised. Glancing as a bright light that looked like a reflection off of something, he stopped as he saw a woman coming around from behind a tree. 162
“Who’s that?” Angie asked, following his gaze. “And why do you look totally annoyed?”163
“Because I am,” he answered, standing. Walking to the woman, he stopped in front of her, effectively blocking her path. “What do you want?”164
”Don’t take that tone with a goddess,” Roan warned mildly. She tensed as a figure bounded up and grabbed her in a hug.165
“Roans!” Simi squealed. “I didn’t know you knews Dominic?!”166
Dom couldn’t help but smile at the look on the goddesses face as Simi finally let go. “Stick around, Simi,” he said. “I’m sure Roan’s about to tell me something I don’t want to hear.”167
“She does that lots,” Simi agreed seriously. “But most times she means well.” 168
“She,” Roan said tersely, “is standing right here, and can speak for herself.” She looked at Dom. “The memories I gained from you were very helpful. But there is one mystery that needs to be cleared up.”169
“Which is?”170
“Why you were not frozen while the other three were.” 171
“And you want to invade their thoughts and memories to find out why.”172
Roan inclined her head slightly. “Yes. I can do it without their even knowing.” 173
“I don’t-“174
“I don’t need your permission,” she reminded him. “I’m merely here as a courtesy.” 175
Pinching the bridge of his nose between his thumb and forefinger, Dom turned and walked away before he could say something that would probably shorten his life considerably. Walking past Ash who was smiling at the baby Amy as she curled a fist through his hair, Dom continued on back to his seat by Angie. 176
“Problems?” Angie asked. 177
“No,” Dom said. “Just someone needing information about that night in the alley.”178
“Really?” Angie asked, eyeing the woman who was still talking with Simi. “Helpful information?” 179
“I guess.”180
Frowning slightly at the vagueness in his tone, Angie stood and approached the stunning new arrival. “If there is anything I can do to help you stop this monster from the alley, then please ask.”181
Blinking in surprise, Roan looked from the woman to Dom, then back. “I just need your memories of that night.” 182
“They’re yours,” Angie said. “I just want her destroyed so Dom can stop worrying every time I take a step off the property.”183
“Angie,” Dom said as he walked up behind her. 184
She turned and smiled slightly. “You’re terrified for me every time I go anywhere,” she said. “I’d do anything to remove that fear from you.” 185
Shaking his head slightly, he stopped. “Okay,” he whispered. “Just… don’t make any deals, promises or anything with her.”186
“I won’t,” she said, then turned her back to him. “What do I do?” she asked Roan.187
Turning away, Dom walked back to the general area where his friends were. He didn’t realize that Angie knew the fear he had for her since they found out she was pregnant, but he should have known. For the first few weeks, he went with her everywhere, until she basically threatened to turn him in to a eunuch if he didn’t stop hovering. 188
“She’ll be fine.”189
He turned to the deep voice. “You sure, Ash?”190
“Yes,” he said, shifting Amy from one arm to the other. “Roan won’t harm her.” 191
~~~~~~~~~~~~192
~~~~~~~~~~~~193
Birds chirped in the morning light, lending their song to an already beautiful landscape. Ducking low under a branch, Aiden straightened on the other side and continued her trek. Every morning since she moved here, she would take the same walk, more often than not forgetting about breakfast and losing herself in nature. 194
Kind of annoyed that Savitar didn’t want to accompany her, she hopped over a stump, then, reaching her halfway point, paused to sit on a large boulder. She could understand his reluctance, since he really wasn’t a ‘nature guy’ even though he constantly surfed the waters off his private island. Then again, she doubted he would be able to keep up with the pace she set… most times her guests rarely did. 195
When Fury visited, he would accompany her, but would usually slink off in search of something to eat. That wolf was not fond of missing any meal. Then, she would arrive at the halfway point, and find him curled on the rock getting sun. His brother Vane, and his mate Bride had visited a few times with their children, but usually only when Fury was around. The children loved the open space, and she could see wistful envy on Vane’s face at times as he simply sat on the deck with Bride and watched their children play.196
The same thing would happen when Ash and Simi visited, although it would be Ash sitting and watching as Simi and Aiden flew the breezes over the mountain. Oddly enough, not one of her guests had been an eagle…Arcadian or Katagaria. True to Fury’s prediction, her Patria had basically shut her out after receiving the building in exchange for Dom’s life, and welcoming her back into the fold. Not that it overly bothered her, since she’d rather have real friends any day to the fake birds that seemed to make up her real family.197
Sitting straight at a sound, Aiden cocked her head in a very eagle-like manner and listened. Smiling slightly as she recognized the footsteps, scent, and small cursing that came from behind her, she turned. 198
Pushing another branch out of his way, Savitar walked up to her. “Hey, Babe.”199
Giving him a good look over, she had to smile at his beach shirt that was open, slouch pants, and the obligatory Birkenstocks that graced his feet. “Not exactly dressed for hiking, you know.”200
“Where did you think the cursing came from?” he asked, smiling as his footwear changed to something more suited to hiking. The rest, however, remained. 201
“What made you decide to come?”202
“It’s quiet, peaceful, and I’m with you,” he said, holding a branch back for her. 203
Aiden stopped in surprise at something that wasn’t here just yesterday. A small waterfall cascading in to a large lake with a small sandy strip running along one side, complete with beach chairs and a small cabana. She looked at Savitar, who was now dressed in a wetsuit.204
“Well, you did say I could add a pool.”

Savitar loves water so much, in your fanfics and in Sherri K's I'm really starting to think he has an elemental connection to it. Seriously though, lol,she did say he could. Lol.

I think there is some elemental connection there, too. Some have even whispered that he is actually Ydor, Atlantean God of the Oceans and Water, and the brother of Chaos (which would make him Apollymi's uncle).
Whatever he is, I do enjoy reading him in the books, and he's a blast to write.

*laughs softly* I love the last part with Savitar and Aiden. Leave it to the surfer dude himself to add a 'pool' to his liking that included a sandy beach and waves. I can't wait to see what will happen next, but I am excited to see just what will become of Ash and Tria. Will they finally be able to be together or will it once again be heart ache.
Can't wait for the next chapter.

Well, she DID say he could add one.
The guy needs water away from his island retreat.
Ash and Tria.... sad sigh.... (and that's all I'm gonna say on that topic.
