On my way to lunch I became slightly paranoid, but half way up the first of two more flights, I tripped up the stairs so I forgot all about Creepy Stalker Kid.2
As I reached the second floor landing I saw a familiar shade of orange bobbing down the hall.3
"Amber!" I yelled as she stops and waits for me.4
I'll take a brief pause here to tell you a little about some of my friends.5
First there's Amber. She's tall, thin, bright orange hair, and until we started mocking her about it, a cheerleader. But despite that, she's still cool.6
Nicole. Nicole's got to be one of my best friends. She's the one that I talk to the most at least. She's built about like me, but she's shy as all. But I'm working on that.7
Last but not least is Sam. Stupid, stupid Sam. She's one of the sweetest girls I know, but she's got as much smarts as the chicken that thought the sky was falling. She's short, skinny, and almost ALWAYS with Nicole.8
That's not all my friends, I have a few more, but they're not included in here quite yet so I won't interrupt the story any longer.9
After I catch up with Amber we get our food and sit down. On my way to get my cheese and drink who do I see but Creepy Stalker Kid at the table right next to ours. After I get my stuff and get back to the table Sam and Nicole are there and I tell them all about what happened at the library back in January.10
"Yeah," Amber remarked, "He asked me if I had a boyfriend. I said, 'Yes, why?' And all he said was 'Never mind.' How odd."11
"He's in our study hall eighth hour, too!" Nicole exclaimed.12
"Huh?" That would be be Sam. "Who is?"13
"Never mind, Sam," Nicole comforts her, patting her head, "It's okay."14
"Okay," Sam replies sounding lost.15
"I mean, it's not like he's that," I say looking around, but I cut myself off as I see that he's gone. "Poof."16
"Poof?" Amber asks, looking at me like I've just jumped on the table and started doing the can-can. "what do you mean by 'Poof'?"17
"Poof, poof, poof, poof, poof," Sam chants, bouncing in her chair, "Poof is a fun word."18
We all just sat and stare at her in amazement for a few moments, then start laughing.19
"Poof, Amber," I say when I've gotten myself collected enough to continue the conversation. "As into he's gone." They all looked over and sure enough he was gone. "What? Did you think I would lie?"20
Nicole just kinda chuckled, "You guys ready yet? Good. Lets go." And with that we did.21
Wonder where he went off to.22
