Lyone's Den -- eighteen

Things went like that for awhile; Greg gave me fatherly talks, Trevor always putting the truth in danger, and, of course, Keaten was in on it now, too. I didn't know what anyone knew anymore. Had Trevor told Greg I loved him? 1

Trevor was now working down at Joe's with me, which was pretty cool. I had someone I could talk to and relate to. The other employees started including me in on things a little more, since talking to Trevor proved that I wasn't such a zombie. We worked our schedules out so that someone would always be able to watch the baby. During the day, only one of us was able to work, but the evenings was fair game. Greg watched him a lot of evenings. He would take London shopping with him a lot. Trevor worked a lot of hard hours, so he was able to afford some of the stuff he had to sell when he moved. Of course, Greg bought a lot of stuff for London. He was perhaps becoming the most attached to London. 2

London now had a crib, a playpen, a high chair, and all the baby accessories. He was becoming more mobile, which meant Greg spent an entire day helping Trevor baby proof the house while I was at work. When I got home, I couldn't open any doors, get into any cabinets, plug any thing in, or even lift the toilet seat. 3

"Hey, Trevor, breakfast is ready," I called through his bedroom door. 4

"Alright," he mumbled back. 5

Usually was he awake before I was, but he had to work late the night before. 6

"I'm coming in," I said before opening the door. Trevor just rolled over and went back to bed. "Come on, time to get up. Look, London's already up." I opened the blinds over his window to let in the sunlight. "Isn't that right, London?" He just grinned at me, standing in his crib, and held his arms out so I would pick him up. Instead, I just rubbed his head feeling his soft hair and then gave him a kiss. Trevor rolled over again. "Come on, Trev," I said again. When he ignored me, I jumped on him. He grunted and pulled the blanket over his head. London laughed and clapped his hands. "But, Trevy, I'm hunrgy!"7

"Then you go eat," he offered. 8

"I can't eat without my best friend."9

"Too bad. Take London and go eat. Leave me here."10

"You used to be ticklish. I wonder, aer you still?" I pondered as I stradled him at the waist. Blankets still covered him from head to toe.11

"No," muttered the blanket mound.12

"I think you are," I grinned. I tried tickling his sides but got no reaction. "The blanket's just too thick," I said. I got up and he sighed in relief. "I'm not done with you, yet," I said. I grabbed the blanket by his feet.13

"Lyone, don't," he said, but it was too late. In one quick, smooth movement, I pulled the blanket off of him.14

"Oh," I said surprised, "I didn't know you slept in the nude." I couldn't help but giggle a little. 15

Trevor was quick to cover himself up with his hands and sit up. 16

"Not like it's nothing I've never seen before," I said, remembering his first night here.17

"There's a child in the room," he argued.18

"What, London? He's not even a year old, relax. Fine, if you're so concerned, I'll take the kid, you get dressed," I said and walked over to the crib. "Come on, Baby Boy. Let's go, before Daddy has a panic attack because you saw his doodle," I teased. London giggled and raised his arms for me to pick him up again. This time, I did so. When I turned around again, Trevor was pulling on a pair of sleep pants. 19

"Come on," he grumbled and left the room. I think that was the first time I'd seen him outside of a bedroom without a shirt on. His entire chest and back were covered in tattoos. The ribcage and heart on his chest, and on his back, a spine with wings going all the way down. They weren't feathery or pleasant wings, either. They were bony and fleshy like bat's or demon's. 20

"Daddy's grumpy," I told London and made a grumpy face as we followed Trevor. London laughed again. He was such a happy baby.21

When we entered the kitchen, Greg and Keaten couldn't stop staring at Trevor.22

"Whoa," Keaten slipped out. "Cool. I didn't know you had tattoos."23

"Yeah, it was awhile before I knew, too," Trevor said lightly, and smiled a little.24

"Careful guys, he's grumpy," I warned. 25

"Well, they're really cool," Keaten said. "I bet they hurt like a bitch, though!"26

"Keaten," Greg scolded. 27

"Couldn't tell ya," Trevor replied. "Didn't even know I had them until about a week after I started rehab."28

"Seriously?" Keaten asked.29

"Seriously. I was pretty messed up. It was quite a surprise when I actually noticed them."30

"I bet. What about your earring?"31

"Nah, I knew I had that. I had that before London was born."32

"That's enough badgering. Sit down and eat, Keaten," Greg said.33

We gave London a bottle of juice and Greg fed him a jar of baby food. 34

"Boys have any plans for today?" Greg asked Trevor and myself.35

"We're both off work. So, who knows?"36

"Hurry up and get ready for school, Kea."37

Keaten and Greg left not long after we finished eating. Trevor volunteered to wash the dishes and do a few other chores around the house while I watched London in the living. London walked around the coffee table while holding onto it, we played a few games, and I successfully wore him out for his morning nap. This past week, he's been rather rebellious against his nap. I took him upstairs and put him to bed. I took a moment before going back downstairs. It was just me and Trev now. Normally, I didn't feel anything for Trevor, but in that moment, I was filled with lust. I guess you could say I still had some rather hard feelings about what happened before. I didn't want to play with his heart, but the only thing I wanted more than him was Greg--and let's face it, that wasn't going to happen. 38

I went back downstairs and saw him in the kitchen, doing the dishes and singing along with the radio. He had a wonderful voice. I sat at the bar and watched him. He didn't even know I was there--or did he? I studied the wings on his back. The only thing he wore was his sleep pants. I, of course, hadn't gotten dressed yet either, so my attire was my normal bed-head hair and boxer-shorts. 39

I weighed my choices. On one hand, Trevor was deeply in love with me and I could hurt him a lot if I followed my lust. He might think I loved him back, when I didn't. On the other hand, Trevor is a guy, and I don't care how feminine, sensitive, hurt, or gay a guy is, every guy wants sex. And I really wanted it. I shook my head at myself. What was I doing? It was Trevor, I couldn't hurt him. I quietly got up and started to leave the kitchen.40

"Lyone?"41

I stopped and turned around. Trevor turned off the water and was walking across the kitchen toward me.42

"I know what you came down here for."43

I looked down at myself. I suppose it was a little more than obvious, considering the side-ways tent I was pitching. Embarrassed, I turned to keep walking. Before I could get my foot flat on the ground for my first step, Trevor's warm hands were on my sides, holding me, then his mouth was on my neck. He wrapped his arms around me and pressed his warm body against mine. I forced myself to pull away from his grip. I didn't completely get lose, but just enough so I could turn around and face him.44

"I don't love you," I said. 45

"Yeah, I know. I started this thing, though, so who am I to say no?" he replied and kissed me. 46

I pulled back again. "Are you sure?" 47

Trevor just grinned and pushed himself against me. "Of course I am. I'll even still help you get Greg." 48

He slid his hands in my waistband and pushed down my boxers. I gave in. I never did have much will power. I took control. I pushed him over to the couch.

    Wowza.

This had hardly any spelling errors at all. The only one that jumped out at me was how you put "lose" instead of loose. You've improved greatly since you first began writing. I love how he was so straight forward with Trevor. I love the connection between the two of them. I have a feeling that he will soon have Greg but in the meantime, he'll have a fuck buddy to turn to. You've done a wonderful job on this series thus far. I'm anxious to see where else it goes. Keep it up!
