Unfinished

"But...but, what did I do?" I ask, trying not to sob. Calvin looked around, wondering what to say. "It's not you, it's me..." I shrieked in rage. "I thought you loved me!" He sighed, "I'm sorry, it's just..." Calvin looked like he was about to say something else, but then just walked away. I started screaming and going after him, but my friend, Anya, pulled me away. "Shhh, it's gonna be alright. Just come with me." I was sobbing now, tears streaming down my face. Anya was hugging me and tugging me in the opposite direction he was walking, and I had no strength to fight back. It was over.1

It was still over two weeks later, when I was taking the public bus over to Anya's house. I could never stop thinking about him; why would he do this to me? I thought I would never get over this pain, but everyone thinks I will. Anya has a theory. Once I find another hottie, I won't think about Calvin anymore. I doubt it. Calvin was my first and only true love. No one will ever take his place. I love him so much...hey, is that him? Same color hair- long, brown. But wait, that looks like a bra strap through the shirt. Hmmm...he could be wearing a man bra? I crack up at that. No, that's a girl. 2

But I look closer and the girl flips her hair like Calvin does, and scratches her nose like Calvin does. And I know I can only see the person from the back, but when the girl flips her hair...is that a little facial fuzz I see? So maybe that wasn't a bra, and that IS Calvin. Oh, my. I squint and definitely see a rolled up something, most likely a bra, what else could it be? And there is a snake tattoo on the arm. That must be a hard-core girl. I can understand a snake tattoo on the ankle, but arm?3

She flips her hair again, and this time I think she notices me.

I'm on my way to my Uncle's house, using the public transportation. There's this crazy guy sitting next to me, talking to himself, and occasionally asking me questions. I answer them as quickly as possible, because the way he stares at me is if I don't answer him I get the death look. But the questions...I don't know, they are kind of wise; or would be, if he wasn't crazy. For example, one of them went, "Would you leave a child alone without its mother?" If you really think about that, I mean I know it sounds crazy. Maybe I'm starting to become crazy and actually beginning to think like him, just by sitting next to him.5

And it's not like I can stand up and switch seats. The bus was totally filled to the brim with people. The bus stopped and on came several more kids, and that was when I noticed I was being watched. I didn't see anyone watching me. But it's not like I'm going to turn my head blatantly so the person watching me knows I know someone is watching me. So I start flipping my hair, to see if I can see anyone staring at me. Just a gut feeling, you know? My neck was starting to hurt and I couldn't see anyone, so I was about to stop, but that feeling. It was like a horror movie.6

Then I saw her. Eyes burning a hole into my head. And...was that...no. Couldn't be. That is not who I think it is. Is it? And I turn right around and gawked at her.
****7

She's staring at me. Wait. She? That's a he! And he looks somewhat familiar. Do I know him? It's definitely not Calvin...oh, crap. What's he doing now? He's getting up and going to the bus driver. What...? The bus stops, and the driver tells him to get off. He starts yelling, the driver starts yelling, and then the driver stops yelling all of a sudden. Looks like he's having a heart attack. What the-? He is having a heart attack!8

Someone calls out for someone to call the doctor, and another person actually does it. The guy, who I thought was a she, ran to the back of the bus, where I was sitting. I was about to ask what was going on, when he started to pick up a kid about the age of six, sleeping on the very back seat. The boy woke up and started kicking and crying, wanting his mommy I assume. "Help me!" spat the guy, trying to hold the screaming kid.9

And he was looking straight at me.
****10

She was doing nothing while this brat peed his pants all over me, screaming and kicking. When she saw the stream of wet transfer from his pants to mine, she started laughing hysterically, and that's when I knew I wasn't going to get any help from her. Everyone else on the bus had either left or was hording the bus driver, trying to see if he was okay, except for the crazy man who I was sitting next to.11

He cackles, runs up to me and the kid, and grabs him, and then runs off the bus. "Hey! Where are you going??!!!" I yell after him. He keeps on running, and he runs pretty fast. I take off after him, and can hear the girl coming after me. She looked pretty bewildered, so I know she doesn't know what is happening, other than I stole someone's kid after I made the bus driver have a heart attack.12

But really, all I was doing was saving the poor thing. When I turned to stare at the girl, because I didn't really think it could be her, my eyes strayed behind her. A lady was sitting next to a little boy, sleeping, in the very back. At the next stop, I saw the lady kiss the boy's forehead and whisper to him, "I'll love you forever. I'm gonna miss you, buddy." And she left the bus, leaving the child and his sweet dreams on the bus.The bus took off, the lady standing at the side of the road with tears streaming down her face, and waving. Then she walked away. 13

My breath started to get heavy, but the crazy guy was still running, and I just couldn't let him have the kid. The girl was behind me somewhere; the bus back there, too, but had left my sight a long, long time ago. I made myself pick up my speed and went back to thinking about what just had happened.

It was sort of confusing, and I couldn't quite figure out what was going on. It was certainly entertaining, though!

"..I'm going to turn my blatantly..." I think there is a typo there.

On another note! I think this was all very very interesting. Well done. What I thought was going to happen, didn't happen. I a few ideas as to what is going on here but it would be nice to read more after you finish it. Great so far!

Oops. There's supposed to be "head" after "my". Thanks for pointing that out!

    Oh, wow...

That certainly took a surprising turn of events, but it really kept me interested....

I thought of it while riding the bus yesterday and thought I saw my ex-boyfriend on it (and I really was debating if the person was a girl or a boy). When I got off, I forgot to see who it was, and what gender, so yeah. =D

This is actually as far as I got in daydreaming it (I daydream a lot of my stories, like they happen to me, lolz). Now I get to see where my fingers take it. If that makes any sense

I thought to maybe mention, that even though this isn't done, i think perhaps you should break the dialogue a bit. I can't really say much more, concidering it again, isn't finished, but it just makes it easier if it's broken up a bit.
