Dead. The only word he heard as he came to the crash scene. 1

She's dead he was told. I was in my car and I was struck by a drunk driver on my way to his house. He went down to the ground and started to cry. His best friend helped him up and took him to the car and they drove off in site. I never saw him like this before. Especially to me...2

As I watched from the back window, they put her body in the abulance and drove off after we did. 4

"She was only 19" I thought to myself, "Why did he need to take her now."5

As we drove off along the road, I dozzed off and was awoken by the voice of my mother.6

"David, David! Wake up, please. Oh good, he's awake." My mother was shaking me so I could wake up.7

I rosed my self up and saw a few people around my room. John, my friend, must have brought me into my room after the crash. John, Jason and a few of Michelle's friends were there in my room including my parents.8

I looked at Michelle's friends, Kiley and Tara. Kiley smiled and me and said,9

"David, She's in a better place than this hell hole of a world, you know that." She placed her hand on my shoulder and lifted it up and stood by the door.10

"Could you all just wait downstairs for me, I..will be down in a second" I asked them all. They left my room, so I could get ready.11

I sat down with John, Jason and Tara. David's mom made a pot of coffee and she poured us a glass each.13

"I've never seen David like this before, its like he's a different person." David's mom Sheryl told us. 14

His father walked down the stairs from David's room and came into the kitchen.15

"He says he feels like nothing without her. I told him that she's watching over him, but he doesn't believe that she is." His father mentioned to all of us.16

I sipped on my coffee and heard someone at the door.17

"I'll get it" David's father, Mike said. To be believing, it was Michelle's parents.18

"Hello there everyone. Listen, I know...wait where's David?" They both asked. 19

"He's upstairs getting changed." Sheryl said. 20

"Well, We want to discuss funeral plans. We thought he would know what she wanted. We just.." They were interuppted by David coming down the stairs...21

I watched above, of what was happening to David. Should I go talk to him? Should I make a sign that I'm watching him. I don't think I should... His life seems horrible without me.
