Returning from her traumatic trip to the hospital, Summer silently closed the back door to her house behind her. Sympathetically, her mother got up from the LaZboy, rushing over to her daughter to comfort her. Shrugging away, Summer burst into tears.1
"God, I'm SO sick of crying!!!" she outraged. Her mother stared at her, not sure of what to say. When she finally had her thoughts together, she spoke.2
"Oh Sweetheart, you have all the reason to be crying! You've been through so much the last two days..." Her mom gave her a strong hug then turned and lead her daughter to the couch. Sitting down together, her mother turned the television to Channel 9. Channel 9...that was the channel that Summer had been watching with Blake last night before the fire occurred. She couldn't take it, she didn't want to watch the T.V. 3
But before she could stand up, her mother touched her arm, encouraging her to stay. "You may want to see this, Summer," her mother informed. Reluctantly, Summer remained in the living room with her mother, watching the T.V. intently. She really didn't want to be doing this, but if her mother thought it was of an importance for her to see, then she would stay. The news report that her mom had wanted her to see came onto the screen...4

"Good Evening America. I am Barbara Wathen, here with your latest update on the Serial Killer Arsonist. Yesterday, September 18, 2004, the arsonist struck again. This time, his/her target landed upon two teenagers who's names are to be left anonymous for the time being. Lighting the front porch of the house on fire, the flames had soon enough grown up to the peak of the home's roof, eventually causing it to collapse. Unfortunately, it collapsed onto one of the victims of the fire, leaving him in severe condition in the hospital. The other victim was fortunate enough to escape from harms way. These are the before and after pictures of the deadly fire set unto the house... *displays pictures*...6
Speechless, torn, and hurt, Summer blankly stared at the television screen in front of her. Before her eyes lay photos of Blake's home, both before and after the fire.....7
