Julie scans the park, she detects nothing out of the usual. she sits on a high rock and sniffs the air. Over the generations the lines have blurred between the beast and the person, most of the extra senses the beast had are now part of the person and the control and feelings felt by the person are now part of the beast. The ability to change almost at will and with out the pain her ancestors would go through. It is now unimaginable that your life would have been ruled by the phase of the moon.2
The metamorphic changes with in the cellular structure has increased bone density giving it almost steel like properties, yet at less than half the normal weight. This allows the present day transmutes to move through gravity unlike any of there human counterparts and without the need to transform. 3
Julies eyes widen twenty five percent more than the human eye, she see almost perfectly in extremely low light and able to capture inferred frequencies sees even better in total darkness. Still haunted by the blood call of the beast, most now track and kill animals to quench there instinct but there exists an element of rebel that feel it their right to feed on the human population. After all they out number them thousands to one what harm can taking the odd few do.4
She notices movement in the trees to her left and awakens all her sense5
“Come out Dillon,” demanded Julie. Suddenly from a branch on the outer edge of the park Dillon leaps into the air, flying some twenty meters and landing softly in a crouched position next to Julie.6
“I will never understand why you leave your self open like this, anyone can see you,” Dillon sounded concerned, Julie smiled in an attempt to put him at ease.7
“I feel more comfortable out here, you forget I work with humans everyday there not all out to get us, the majority don’t even now we exist.” Argued Julie8
“The ones that do can’t seem to leave us alone,” insisted Dillon9
“Well I heard you coming and I smelt you.” Dillon pouted at being caught out and recognized.10
“The wind must have changed,” he offered as a feeble excuse. Julie sniffed his neck before licking his ear trying to make him feel better, slowly he turned his head letting her lick his lips before kissing her. Julie pulled away, she had heard something she didn’t recognize, it was mechanical. Dillon heard it too both sniffed the air for clues and scanned the surrounding area.11
Julie picked up two anomalies in the terrain on her side of the rock. She stood instinctively, activating the change to the more powerful side of her nature. Dillon didn’t need to be asked he to rose and transformed. Suddenly the park was filled with light from four points as large trucks rolled at speed to the edge of the park from all sides. Blinded while there vision adjusted they heard the cannon like explosions as the titanium nets were launched from beneath the ground at positions around the rock. Julie and Dillon became entwined the more they fought, falling from the rock in there struggle. As there eyes adjusted they could see the silhouettes of soldiers running and calling orders, then dull thud of an air gun signaled the release of darts filled with sleep inducing drugs and the fight was over for now. 12
Julies eyes flickered as she started to regain consciousness, she had no idea where she was and had now intention of staying. She stood, finding herself within a box. Three of the four walls were metal the fourth was clear, some sort of polymer glass compound. Julie launched herself into the air transforming for maximum power, she kicked the window with everything she had, bouncing back she sat up and looked at where there should have been a hole.13
“Shit I didn’t even mark it.”14
“Hello,” A voice echoed around her cell. Julie looked up to see a man in military dress watching her through the window. She instinctively sniffed the air but pick up nothing in side her cell.15
“I thought you might like some answers to you questions. If it is possible for me to do so I will tell you anything you need to know.” Julie didn’t trust him, but then again who would when you have been caught out so easily.16
“What of the other.” Said Julie, careful as to how much information she gave out.17
“Your were-brother is safe and will remain so as long as you co-operate.”18
Julie concentrated her vision on the Commander, scanning his face for weakness, a twitch of the eye, wrinkle in the forehead, then there it was a bead of sweat. Even dressed in combat uniform it wasn’t that warm, Julie licked the air still nothing to confirm her suspicions but she just new,Dillon was in danger no matter what she did or what he said. She scanned the room a cot lay just off the floor against one wall, the worlds most uninviting toilet stood against the back wall along with a small sink There were no obvious entries points but Julie figured one of the metal grids in the floor was the main access. Still in the background the Commander prattled on.19
“These cages have been designed to hold creatures such as yourself, and you will only tire yourself out by attempting to escape you’d be wise to remember your co-operation allows your friend to live.” Finished he turned to a subordinate.20
“You may feed it now.” The corporal saluted and turned back to the control panel, punching in a code, gas jets sprayed a measured amount into her cell. Caught out, Julie inhaled the gas and fell to the floor, she would be out for only a half hour, long enough for her guards to deliver her tray of food, but this was half the amount she would need to keep her energy at its peek.21
This went on with military timing for several days; she couldn't afford to go much longer on so little or she would start to grow weaker. Fortunately her forced in activity was working in her favor, so she waited patently watching learning there routines. The corporal marched to the control panel. Julie inflated her lungs still packing air as the jets started to spray, she fell to the floor just as she had in previous days, she waited fighting the urge to breath. Concern as to what they were doing to Dillon kept her fight up even when she felt her lungs would burst, she told herself just a little longer. Julie was slowly loosing conciseness when the extraction fans burst into life removing the gas in seconds.22
exhaling she begins to pant lightly regaining her breathing rhythm, she hears movement below her then watches as part of the floor hinged up and two men entered one carrying a tray of food the other a gun. Julie moved as fast as she could hitting the guard with the gun pushing him into the guard bending to place the tray. She slides down the access steps closing the grid as she went, stopping momentarily to sniff the air looking for any sent of Dillon. Then she sensed the faintest hint and takes off running as fast as she could. At the end of a passage was a heavy set door with a small window, she lent against the door and looked through the window. Dillon was laying stretched out on a table obviously in agony she transformed into the beast and ripped the door from the hinges. Entering the room she approached the bed. Dillon barely recognized her, Julie looked at the scars some inflamed others seeping. she looked at the reports laying on the table and was drawn to one word, Vivisection. In the background she heard the alarms, turn her attention back to Dillon his breathing was labored normally there regenerative abilities would have saved him but he looked starved, riddled with infection even missing internal organs. Dillon was to far gone, too weak Julie held his hand and pledged death to all that worked in this facility. Dillon looked one last time into Julie’s eyes and died.23
Julie moved quickly down the main corridor finding herself in a large bunker, she smelt human and turned to fix his position. The Commander stood on a gantry five meters above her.24
“You wont escape alive you realize this don’t you.” With little effort she glided from the floor to the gantry and transformed. Before he could even aim his weapon the first slash of her sharpened claws and powerful paws broke the Commander’s neck. The second blow tore his head from his body sending it plummeting to the floor below, which was fast filling with troops. Julie lifted her wolffian head, growled at the troops and let out a blood curdling howl. the troops dropped whatever they were holding and cover there bleeding ears. Disorientated, deaf, confused and in pain the troop’s had know idea the carnage that was to follow.25
Julie dropped to the floor taking out her anger ripping, clawing, biting, slashing, blood bathed the walls and washed the floor as the body's piled up in a furry that would only end with the death of the last human. There was no place to hide, no door way that would block her advance, she was the perfect killing machine, necks snapped like twigs bones crumbled to dust. Systematically from room to room level to level she moved until only the sound of her heavy panting broke the deathly silence. 26
She looked at herself in the mirror as the beast reformed back to her shapely form. The steam filled the bathroom as water diluted blood encircled the drain before disappearing. The water cleansed her body, washing away all evidence of the carnage she had unleashed. But she would always remember what they had done and what she was capable of.27
The news reported an ammunition dump had exploded wiping out a locale Army base and then the Army placed a lid over it as air tight as a Tupperware container. the official line was they don't exist. The unofficial line was Don't piss them off. 28

p8 don't even (know) we exist." (argued) Julie.
p13 rock in (their) struggle.
p22 forced (inactivity) was working - she waited (patiently) watching(,) learning (their) routines. - slowly (losing consciousness) when
p23 (Exhaling,) she (began) to pant - she (heard) movement [you are switching from past and present tense]
p26 in a (fury) that would only end
Julie has quite a temper. I agree with Jinxgirl that this could be expanded and felt sort of rushed, but I like it. Julie is the name I chose for a human assistant to my vampire, Victor; so I felt an affinity for her.
Good story. Thanks for entering WANTED!!! Monsters, Demons, and Villains

this is an interesting idea, but it seems like it could be expanded upon into a longer, more detailed story, one that is less rushed.
