Closing my eyes for a second, I rose to my knees pulling the pregnancy test toward me. My heart began to race, blood pounding in my ears. The moment that would decide my destiny. Releasing the breath I held in my aching lungs, my eyes came to rest on the dark blue positive sign sealing my fate. 3
In that split moment, the world crashed down around me. My breathing shallow and a struggle to release. The memories returned in a swirl of pain and frustration. The squeal of the tires, the light escaping my father's eyes as he died with his arms around me. The rain falling gently as if crying for his death. The soul of my mother dying. The slow alcohol consuming her pain and grief. Her marriage to a monster in disguise. The endless nights of his hands tracing the outline of my body. His cold laughter and smug appearance of realizing his control. My life. My private hell.4
I placed the gun against the side of my head, tears running slowly down my face. Footsteps echoed through the hallway getting louder as if in an approach. "Hey, Katrina, you didn't answer your cellphone..." the doorknob turned slowly, "...do you need a ride to scho..." Stephen stood in the doorway eyes bright with fear and panic. My best friend. The only friend that protected me.5
The gun torn away from my grasp, his arms pulling me towards him as I struggled to breathe and stifle my sobs. My body shook with rage and fear as I tried to sink into his. I did not resist as he wrapped me in his arms carrying me down the hall and to his car parked outside. 6
"I'm taking you away from this once and for all, we'll go somewhere safe...he won't hurt you again..." Stephen whispered softly in my ear, unknowingly that the torture was only a few yards away....7

You made me cry god damnit! This is so...frightening and some what of a love story at the same time...I love Stephen, I think I'll call him and tell him that he's like the best person ever now. Sorry I wasn't there, remember I was "crazy" then...haha...I love you Kay!
love,

No, it doesn't sound creepy. And you can tell me anything. I'm always willing to listen.

Wow. You're a very strong person for being able to write about it. I would like to thank Stephen for saving you because you're a really cool person. I feel so comfortable talking to you. I feel I could tell you anything. I hope this doesn't sound creepy.
Anyways, take your time continuing the story.

Thanks, heh, yes that is the same Stephen and this is a true account of something that happened to me and he saved my life. Honestly I don't think I would be here if it wasn't for him. During this story we are both 17. So it's like five years ago. And I think I will continue the story eventually.

I assume this is the same Stephen that's on your page. If so, wow. He is definately a sweetie. I don't know anyone who would save me from myself, let alone another person. You're so lucky to have him. Of course, this is all off the assumption that this is fiction yet true to an extent. I don't know if this makes sense.
You're writing beautiful. The way you're able to convey the emotions so well. You're an awesome writer. You definately know how to write a cliffhanger too. But continue the story in your own time.
Hugs
