Teeth, and Magic Pt. 3

Finally content and filled to the brim with blood I began to walk home again. I was within twenty feet of my front gate when someone behind me said,
“Hello, darky.”
I turned around slowly and saw a young man, sitting on the concrete with his ankles crossed and arms behind his back, his head tilted up towards me. He had many scratches and other wounds all over his body and his mouth, like mine, was still dripping blood.
“Hiya, mate,” He said and stood up. He wiped down his dirty polo shirt and walked a little bit towards me. I took a step backwards.
“What do you want?” I asked.
He did not answer right away. Instead he turned and looked at the now hidden moon. He then turned back and said,
“I'm a werewolf, mate, and I just spent the entire night jumping around the city killing people,” He smiled as he said that last phrase.
“Are you a natural Lycanthrope?” I asked, now very intrigued. Werewolves, non-natural werewolves, were in horrible pain when they transformed and did not even remember the killing of anyone while they were in that form.
“Yeah, mate, how else would I have even known that I had run around killing? Anyway, mate, I need your help,” He said.
“Help with what?” I asked, not the “cure” I imagined.
“I have a score to settle with the white vampire and that freakin' mage you guys are chasing after. I can help you find the mage and then you can help me get to the white vampire,” He answered. I began to wonder who he had eaten, because the blood from his mouth continued to flow out.
“Oh,” he said, noticing where I was staring, “I finished off that mage you recently met. You left him unconscious, heh...” My eyes widened.
“What?” I exclaimed, “I MEANT to leave him unconscious!” The werewolf cringed at the thought, I was sure, for they are not as subtle as I.
“Hmm?” He said, his eyes widening now, “Really? And you're a vampire? Heh, I'm beginning to doubt you, mate”
“I'm not interested,” I said and turned around. As I was walking the final twenty feet to my house he yelled after me “Now I have a score to settle with you too, mate! Be warned!”
I stopped for a moment and then continued, I have a score to settle with you too, mate! Still ringing in my ears.
I got into my house and sat on my bed. I was dizzy from the happenings of tonight and I was getting tired, so I fell back and went to sleep.
~*~*~*~*~*~
I was awakened by the white vampire, who was standing over me and staring.
“Wake up, sleepyhead,” He said.
“Shut up,” I said and clambered out of bed.
“Now that's not very nice,” He said, sarcastically.
I silently opened the door to my room and went down the stairs to my ground floor. He followed me all the way into the mansions family room and even sat down when I did, all the time staring at me intently.
“You can't just laze around here!” He said, gesturing me up, “We have a mission to do for the council!”
“Fuck the council,” I said and laid down on the couch. He stood up and started to walk away.
“Fine, but the council is not going to be happy,” He said, “Oh and one more thing. A werewolf came to me last night. He said he had a score to settle with you. And just so you know, if he also came to you, which I suspect he did, I did not accept his offer, either...”1

I arrived later than the white vampire did to the council chambers, for I took my time. I meandered in and kneeled next to the white vampire. I looked up at the council members.
“Well?” The elf asked, a hopeful look on his face.
“Nothing,” said the white vampire. His head was down, probably scared of the elf's wrath.
“But,” he continued, “We did kill off about thirty of the human mages currently residing in the one city we searched through.
The old man cringed at this at muttered a soft prayer. The elf did not hear him and said, “Well that is good news, but where might the mage be?”
“I was confronted by a werewolf. He said he knew where the mage was...” the white vampire mentioned. I stared at him, shocked that he would mention the werewolf. We can't enlist the help of a werewolf! I thought.
“A werewolf?” The elf pondered, “Why would a werewolf know?”
“He's a natural lycanthrope, sir,” the other vampire continued, “He remembers what happens when he changes.” I put my head down and prayed to the Gods that the elf would not make us go look for him.
“Hmm...” the old man said and then thought for a moment. He continued with, “Well, although it is tempting to go find the werewolf and enlist his help, we cannot.”
“Oh? Why not?” the elf asked him.
“We always abide by the laws of the Gods and one of them says that no one shall, under any circumstance, seek out an ungodly being, such as an orc or a werewolf,” the old man answered.
I looked over at the white vampire, who was also muttering his own prayer. He was sweating what little sweat his dead body had left. A werewolf could take on both of us at once, with his ungodly speed and strength. And I supposed he would not come quietly.
“...one bad thing won't put that bad a mark on our record! We haven't been perfectly loyal anyhow for the entire time the Council has been around!” The elf had been yelling.
“Um...may I say something?” I chimed in to this wonderful conversation.
“Ahem...yes what is it?” The elf asked.
“We, uh, can't truly take on a werewolf by ourselves. Even both of us couldn't, so I would prefer it if we didn't go gallivanting after the werewolf...” I said.
The elf sat there for a while staring at me, then at the white vampire, then back at me. He finally said, “Nope, you're going after him...”
“But...” I started. The old man looked as though he were in a trance of some sort.
“No! You are going after him.” and that was that...

A couple of things stood out-

"...couldn't, so I would prefer it if we didn't go gallivanting after the werewolf...” I said."

To me, 'gallivanting' doesn't sound right in this context. Maybe something like rambling would be better?

The other thing was that you capitalised after some sentences ("...city killing people,” He smiled), and with a comma, i think you just use lower case letters.

    Hope the helps

Not sure if "gallivanting" is the best word to use when hunting a werewolf...good story though, I'm enjoying it.
