Teeth, and Magic Pt. 2

The white vampire walked slowly up to the house where he had been told a mage lived. The house was old and dreary.
He looked at the old wooden door and thought for a second that he shouldn't do this. Quickly, he abandoned those thoughts and kicked the door down.
The mage was sitting quietly at a computer. He looked over at the white vampire with a shocked expression and leaned back.
“Your not the one I want...” the white vampire said. He raised his right index finger and pointed at the mage. A burst of light flew from the white vampire's fingertip and the mage crumpled to the ground.
The vampire began to walk out the broken door and stopped. He turned around, leaned down to the dead mage's neck and sucked the mage dry. He started walking out again and picked up the broken door.
“Goodbye...” he said to the mage's corpse, propped the door back in place and walked away from the house.1

I walked in human form towards my house's gate and looked inside. Some people said my mansion was dismal and dreary. Others said it was fantastic. I just called it, home.
My yard was so full of tall plants that you couldn't see through them to my mansion anyway. The plants guarded my house from intruders by taking them and throwing them out the back entrance to the mansion. Some people were horribly disturbed by this approach but it was effective, and so I left it. My father has been the previous owner of the home a few millenia ago. He had the plants enchanted by the elves who, at that time, were known by the humans. Nowadays, the humans do not remember the glory days of human beside elf in “blazing glory.”
I reached my hand out and the plants parted. My front door appeared from behind the plants and I walked up to it. I opened the door and walked inside.
My ground floor was painted black with odd gargoyles littering the walls. My father had had them installed when he first took up residence there. Even though they disgusted me, I could not bring myself to take them down, and so they remained, staring their filthy blood soaked stone eyes at my floor.
Nothing truly was appealing to me in my house for my father had not been totally clean in his killings. As a vampire you normally suck blood directly from the neck but my father, well, let's just say he enjoyed his “job” a little too much.
I had not had my fill this night and my face was dreadfully pale. I had nearly fainted walking home from the mage's house.
Taking a quick look around my house to make sure everything was still there, I left.
In a single leap, I launched myself onto someone's rooftop. They failed to notice a man walking atop their house...
I jumped a little and swung myself inside through an open window. Doing so, I nearly took off a gutter.
I quickly changed into my vampire form, bent down over a sleeping woman, and drank...
