Through the thick trees, the two elves bounded from trunk to trunk. Their dark cloaks flapped through the wind as they moved through the night. Finally one landed by a river. He pushed back his hood, looking back at the sleeping wood elf city in the distance. His tribal marking on his face and exposed skin revealed him as a wild elf. His white hair hung loose and draped over his broad shoulders. The second elf landed, she held the priceless medallion in her hand as she threw back her own hood. Her gray tone flesh seems black in the night's darkness. Her dark markings over her eyes fluttered across her cheeks like wings. Ebony hair framed her beauty perfectly as it fell about her. A pendent hung in front of her forehead from a chain that wrapped around her head. That same pendent, a crescent moon, hung from her left ear and chimed with each movement.1
The wild elf laughed boldly, slapping his knee. He turned to his companion and stood straight and proud.
"How long do you think it's take for the guards to realize that we have the Priestess' Soul?" he chuckled, walking towards the dark elf.
"I wouldn't know. All I do know is that I'll be very far from here." she said coldly, looking directly into the moon's face.
"You me 'we'll'." the wild elf laughed again.
"No."
Her voice silenced him. His cobalt-blue eyes stared directly at the dark elf.
"What?" he asked quietly.
"Sorry, Willow, but I have other plans." the dark elf looked at the wild elf, "I didn't even expect you to follow me this far."
"Tia, what do you mean? You asked me to join you?" Willow stepped closer to her, but she scooted away from him, keeping the distance.
"I only needed you help getting the Dragon's Eye. After that I didn't care if you came or not. Also, my real name is Morez."
"One of the Dark Prince's Bandits?" Willow asked in a whisper, but then yelled, "I don't believe you!"
The dark elf snickered, "Do you want me to prove it or something?" she asked in a teasing manner, "Fine."2
The dark elf unhooked her cloak and throw it over the closest branch. The started to undo her top armor when Willow started to make a fit.
"What are you doing!? I didn't ask you..."
"Silence!" Morez shouted, "I bare the mark of the Dark Prince."
She removed her armor and turned her back to him. Across her back was a dark spider that stretched across her entire back.
Willow stared at it, shocked at what he was seeing.
"No....It can't..."
"It is." Morez said, replacing her armor and cloak, "And you have to go down another path then me, or I'll have no choice."3
Willow froze to his spot. He tone was cold and threatening. He has never heard her speak to him in that manner. He couldn't believe any of this. He was too in love with Morez to accept any less. He bared his teeth and took another step.
"Didn't you hear me!?" the dark elf yelled.
Willow didn't care, he kept walking.
"Don't make me!?" Morez yelled as he got closer.
Before Willow could take another step, Morez spun low to the ground, tripping him. She turned back around with her dagger drawn and aimed for his neck. Once the cold iron touch his skin, she paused and looked directly at him.
"I'm giving you a chance to live, you stupid bastard!"
Those were the very same words she told him on their first mission.4

Willow hung from the rope, slowly slipping as the fibers cut deeply into his hands. He looked down to see the fiery pit. He grunted as he continued to climbed, but lost his grip. He fell three feet before he grabbed the rope again. His hand gushed blood and stained the rope crimson. He held on tightly, but heard a whistle to his right. He looked to see Morez holding out her hand, but he looked away.
"I'm giving you a chance to live, you stupid bastard!" she yelled at him.
Willow looked at her and then down to the pit.
"How long do you think it'll take the guards to bust through that door?" she asked, still extending her hand.
There was a sudden crushing sound and Willow quickly took her hand.
"There they are!" a guard yelled from above.
Willow was pulled into the window right before they starting filling the tunnel with arrows.

Now, as he remember how warm and affectionate she was, Willow couldn't believe that this woman before him was the very same as then. He straightened out his back and looked directly at her.
"I don't believe you're that kind of person." he said sternly.
"Person is a human technicality to make all races equal. I'm not equal to humans or any elf." Morez said standing back up, "Stay, or I will kill you."
As she began to walk off, Willow got to his feet quickly.
"Morez! I don't believe you! You don't have to do this!"6
She stopped and turned around. The wind picked up and the moon slowly ducked behind the clouds as in fear of the dark magic. A light surrounded Morez and her eyes pierced the darkness.
"Then I guess I have to kill you." she said in a long slow breath.7
A pillar of light cut through the tress and the forest stood silent. The moon and the stars returned to the sky once all light vanish. The darkness has finally left and relieved the forest of its burden. Only one figure remains, Willow's. He laid on his back, eyes froze open as they stared into the very face of evil. Silently, a single tear fell from his blue eye as the faded into a deathly gray...lifeless.

Cool! Wow, you seem to have a lot of enthusiasm, which I like. I like writing with prompts too.
Hmm, so you want anything? I'll mix it up a bit: I'll do a picture, a question, and a song.
Picture: http://www.dark-layouts.net/Backgrounds/dark/images/dark_elf.jpg
Must answer this question within the story:
Is evil just perception? Is it the ignorance of people?
Song: Ok, here's a stanza from Love Song by Sara Bareilles:
I learned the hard way
That they all say
Things you want to hear
And my heavy heart sinks deep down under you and
Your twisted words,
Your help just hurts
You are not what I thought you were
Good luck! lol I know it might not be too hard, but it's interesting. -
