Silent Cries Chapter three-Beach

After some compramises I found myself in tyler's truck. it was an orange Avalanch with leatherseatsanda Gps that costs more than my life. I tried as hard as i could not to be a clutz because i don't think my dad would like to pay for a replacement car.1

I was put in the front with Tyl;er andi wishmore than anythingto just be with Alec. I'm not usedto Tyler and his unhuman beauty so I'm scared about what i might say. I feel way out of place with tyler and his HUGE brother so i just stared out the window and bit my tounge.2

It was a quiet ride. Every now andthen i would let my eyes wander to tyler and I would see that he was looking at me to. I would always quickly look away and try to hide my blush. It was really embarassing to think that this God like human was looking at me.3

I was so.... i dont know, board, i geuss that i kept count of how many times i cought him looking at me. he looked at me twenty-seven times. I know pathetic.4

I laughed at myself forgetting that i'm not the only one in the car. All heads turned toward me. 5

"Whats so funny?" Tyler asked i blushed.6

"Oh nothing sorry i was just laughing at how pathetic i was." I said and Tyler he looked at me weird and turned back to the road. Fro then on it was absolutly silent except for the hum of the tires on the road.7

We finnallty reached the beach and i felt relived to see Alec's smilling face. I got out and of course i tripped. To my disbelife Tyler is the one who cought me. i was so embarrassed that i imediatly tried to right myself and of course it ended in disaster. I fell again and this time i took Tyler down with me.8

I flushed when he fell on top of me. Why is this happening to me? Why now? I was so mad and emmbarassed at the same time. I pushed him off of me and got up. 9

"I'm soo sorry!" i said putting my hand out for Tyler.10

"It's no problem I'm fine you just had a clutzy moment."He said with an almost evil chuckle. I blushed and turned toward Alec.11

"Ok lets head out." he said with a sad look in his eyes. I was confused but i ignored it and followed everyone toward the beach.12

I took off my sandles and scrunched my toes in the sand. it felt amazing. I LOVE the sand and the water.I've lived here my whole life and I've never gotten boared of the ocean. It's like my favorite thing in the world.13

One minute i was in my own little world playing with the sand and the next i was in Alec's arms. He ran toward the ocean prepareing to throw me in.14

I kicked and screamed trying to get him to put me down but nothing i would say worked.15

"Hey Tyler Help me man" Alec shouted16

"Noooo wait let me get out of my clothes and into my baithing suit atleased." I said. I was relived when that bit of knowlage sank in and they let me go.17

I took off my sweets and my tank then i bolted. I was NOT about to be thrown into that freezing water.18

It took ma a minute to realize that they were not following. They were just looking at me. 19

"What are you two staring at?" I called to them.20

Akec and tyker shook their heads "Nothing" they called in unison. Then ran, full speed, toward me.21

I bolted. I didn't get very far before they both cought up to me.22

Alec grabbed my arms and tyler got my legs. I kicked and screamed for them to put me down. They were going to but not in the place i wanted them to.23

Well if i was going into the water they were going with me. When they let go of me i grabbed Alec and Tyler's arms. All three of us toppled into the water.24

I screammed as i broke through the surface of the water. It was FREEZING! Every one on shore laughed at us. It was not very funny in my opinon.25

Trying to get up was a nightmare. We were falling over eachother and the waves were crashing over us full foce. But i have to admit it was the most fun i'd had in a while.26

By the time lunch came around everyone was in the water splashing and haveing the time of their lives. It was so much fun. Untill my stomache growled. Then i relized i was very hungry.27

The girls trew thier pants on and the guys put on their shirts and we headded up toward the resturants.28

When we got up their Alec, Victoria, and i split form Tyler and Josh. We headed toward the pizza shop and they headed toward the smoothie shop.29

We headed up toward the order line. I looked at Victoria amazed how beautiful she was. She had the same fair skin as her brother. The same beautifly mystrious black eyes her eyelashes perfectly thick without the help of mascara. She had those full red lips that any guy would die to tast and the perfect shape of her jaw. I was very jelouse of her perfectness. I really wanted to be beautiful but it's just not going to happen.30

"Chris...Chris what do you want to eat?" I heard Alec say. I was suddenly self concouse as i ordered a slice of vegi pizza.31

Alec handed me a drink and i went to fill it up. I got coke, Alec got rootbeer (like always), and Victoria got Mountain dew.32

We got a back corner table and i stared off into space thinking of what i would need to do to be atlease half as beautiful as Victoria.33

Alec got impatient so he went up to the counter to see what was keeping it up leaving me and Victoria alone.34

Victoria sighed and pulled up her currling mass of black hair, off her shoulder. 35

I like her hair. One for how thick and currly it was. I've always loved curls. And two the blue streaks she put in her hair it looked really cool.36

"So how has your day been so far?" Victoria said breaking my consentration.37

"Oh it's been really good. I've had so much fun today. it's the first time in a while i've not thought of my mother." I sighed. She raised her eyebrow.38

"Whats wrong with oyur mother?" She asked me.39

"Oh she is in the hospital. She passed out and whent into acoma." I said matter-of-factly.40

"Oh i see wy she would be on your mind all the time." she said sympatheticaly.41

I nodded as Alec came back with our food.42

"So what did i miss?" He said as he sat down next to me.43

"Nothing you didn't already know." i said taking a bite of my pizza. Alec took the hint and changed the subject.44

"Soo...How are you doing in school?" He asked, i think, to Victoria.45

"Oh I have striaght A's but Mr. Kane hates me. He says i'm too smart for my own good and i mouth off to much." She siad with an evil grin.46

"You mouth off?" Alec asked shocked "You are one of the quietest girls i know!" he said47

"But Mr. Kane hates every one. He says i'm a dumb jock who is to cocky." He added48

"Ya I understand the dumb jock thing but you to cocky ? no i'm thinking more....Aroggant." I said with a laugh. Alec looked at me in mock horror.49

"Hey! That's not nice!" He said pouting. Me and Victoria bursted out in laughter at his face. Then Alec joined in on the laughter.50

"That sounds a little like my little brother Tyler." Victoria said. I looked at her.51

"Wait Tyler's your little brother?" I asked surprised.52

"Ya most people think he is older than me but I'm the oldest even though i was adopted after tyler. I think that's what throws people off. They don't pay attention to our age they look at when we were adopted." SHe explaind.53

"Ooohhh." I said understanding. "Ya i can see were they would m,ake the mistake." I said and took another bite of my pizza and continued our other conversation.54

About an hour later We saw Josh and Tyler walking toward us.55

"Hey you guys ready to get back to the beach?" Josh asked when he thought we could hear him.56

"Ya we will be there in a minute." Josh and Tyler walked away toward the beach.57

We cleared our table and Alec went to pay the bill. Victoria needed to use the restroom so we waited for her.58

"Hey Chris." Alec said59

"Ya?" i asked60

"You remember last night? I mean the kiss?" He asked nevously eyeing the ground.61

"Ya how could i forget?" I said sivering alittle.62

"Well i dont regret it. To tell you the truth i liked it i was wondering if you regreted it?" He asked in a rish.63

"I don't regret it but it did confuse me." I answered tuthfully.64

"Oh." He said alittle sad.65

"Anything else you want to ask me?" I asked looking at him.66

"Well ya." He said pausing to look at me.67

"Are you doing anything saturday?" He asked shyly.68

"Oh um. No i'm not why?" I asked69

"Well i was thinking that mabey we could go to the movies or something." He said70

"Oh you mean like a date?" I asked surprised.71

"Ya exactly like a date." He said looking at me. I smiled.72

"Sure i will go to the movies with you." I said. He smiled and hugged me.73

"Pick you up around seven?" He asked the worst behind him. 74

"Ya that'll work." I said as Victoria came out.75

"So what did I miss this time?" She asked mockingly. I took Alec's hand in mine "Oh i see." She said with a smile. We laughed and walked back to the beach.76

Whe we got to the beach Tyler froze and glared at our hands. He confused me alittle by his reaction but i let it slide.77

"So i'm geussin you got that date? Josh asked with a dazzling smile.78

Josh is just as beautiful as his brother and sister. He has wild black hair with the slightest red streaks. His eyes (of course) were black and his skin was fair. He was VERY strong. He had a good build and was tall. He was really nice to.79

"Ya" Alec beamed. 80

I could see out of the corner of my eye that Josh nuged Tyler.81

"I geuss congrats are in order." Tyler said through clenched teeth. He made me a little uncomforatable with the look in his eyes. 82

He looked angry as he turned and walked away.83

"What's his problem?" Alec asked Josh84

"Oh he just has a bad stomach he will get over it." Josh said covering for his brother.85

I twas silent for a minute as we watched Tyler stalk down the beach.86

"Soo who wants to go to the Tide pools? asked Victoria breaking the silence. Everyone imediatly raised their hands.87

As soon as everyjone was ready we walked toward the pools.88

When we reached the pools i had lost intrest. I could not stop thinking about the look tyler gave me bafore. It confused me to the point it was going to drive me insane. I geuss you could say he "tourtured" me. I dont know why but the expression on his face stuck in my head.89

"Hey Chris come look." Alec said breaking me from my trance.90

"I leaned over and looked into one of the larger pools. There was a trapped octopuse swimming in circles. It was trying to find it's way out of the hole but with no lick.91

The pool was beautiful. It had variaties of coral and starfish. There was crabs and colorful shell fish as well. It was like a tiny little eco system in one little pond.92

One moment i was admiring the pool and the next i was looking up at Alec's amused expression.93

Somehow i had ended up in the pool. It was deep ad not only that it was Freezing. I screamed and reached for something ot grab onto. No one was helping me they were just laughing and pointing at me.94

"Would one of you shut up and help me?" I yelled. Alec wiped his eyes and held out a hand. He pulled me out and handed me a towel.95

"That poor octopuse! you probably scared him to death!" said Victoria. Everyone was laughing at me now.96

After my little "swim with the fishes" i was not in the mood to participate in the rest of the day. I just sat on the sidelines and watched everybody else.97

I had a wier feeling in my stomach as the day progressed and i knew something was wrong. I just didn't know what.98

Tyler had shown back up after a while but like me he sat out on most activities.99

Finnaly everyone was ready to go home. It was about one o'clock in the morning and that feeling in my stomach grew to a nausiating pain.100

We arrived at the complex and Alec and i got out. We said bye and went to the elevator.101

"Whats wrong Alec asked as the elavator went into motion.102

"Nothing." I lied. Alec stared at me worried. "I promise you nothing is wrong. If something was wrong you would be the first to know." I said and that calmed him down alittle.103

I hate to lie to him like that but the feeling in my stomach grew worse as I reached my floor.104

I looked for my father knowing he would be awake. I found him in a ball rocking back and forth. Heartbreaking sobbs ripping from his chest.105

I run to him and wrap my arms around him. He took my in his arms and held on.106

After a few minutes i had to know what was wrong. I Lifted up hios chin so he would look at me.107

"Whats wrong? Did something happen to mom?" I asked like a parent would ask their child when they got a booboo.108

He looked at me with pain filled eyes and that conformed it.109

"Is mom..." i couldn't finish. I searched his eyes and found the answer.110

"No." I said biting my lip. Why? How? When?111

"She is gone?" i said not really asking a question but stating a fact. Dad shook his head. A fresh wave of grief covers his face conferming what was already known.
