Our Bloodthirsty Vampire

My name is Alice Cullen. My brother is in love with a human who wants him to bite her. What has this world come to when a human WANTS to be a vampire? But they are in love, so I see what she's getting at. Bella doesn't want to be an old lady with Edward still physically seventeen. I get it....sorta.1

Jasper and I decided to get married. The wedding is small, strictly vampires only, with the exception of Bella, of course. You are probably wondering why I'm writing this. Well, the majority of it is because I wanted to say that i remember....... everything.2

I know you are wondering what I remember, but if you were Edward (AKA an abnoxious mind reader)you would know,. I remember being human.I won't give extreme details but seriously I wish I couldn't remember. I was seventeen, a junior in high school. I was getting ready for prom, and that's when it all started. That's when I first heard the voices and saw the man. The man in the cloak, who was very handsome. I didn't know what he was doing there. I didn't want to know.3

My best friend and boyfriend, if that is the appropriate word for your vampire, was taking me to prom. I don't really know why, he knew I hated when he did something with a lot of money,but he really liked to spoil me. 4

When Gregory showed up at the door I almost screamed in fright. I wasn't pretty enough. My parents weren't home, so I didn't even bother to say come in, and all of a sudden,he was right there next to me.Great.5

"You look so beautiful."6

I sighed, content in his arms, and by the fact I looked okay,according to Gregory.7

"You smell even better, but that doesn't matter."he whispered in my ear.8

I looked longingly into his soft, caramel colored eyes and,realizing what i wanted, he smiled as he picked me up into his arms and kissed me gently.9

Then I started going crazy. As he started to pull back after the kiss, not wanting to harm me by losing control, I heard the voices and my eyelids fluttered open. I couldn't tell what they were saying, but i heard the whispering. I looked around me, then up at my Gregory.10

"Did you hear that?" I asked him in a hushed voice.11

The look on his face gave me a good enough answer. I wasn't going crazy.This was all real. Great. 12

All was quiet, not a sound in the house. Then all of a sudden...."Alice."the voices whispered. "Finally."said the voices hungrily into my ear. My mouth and throat became dry. Gregory's face turned shocked then deadly as I twisted around in Gregory's arms and came face to face with the man in the cloak. Time stood still. I could see his face beneath his hood, and realized that I had seen him before.I don't know exactly where, and I have never known,even then.13

I stood there stock still, watching James's face throughout those short seconds that felt like hours. He was smiling at first, and I realized later that he had thought he had me. Then his smile faded to a look of surprise at who I was with and then terror for the same. Then a low growl started coming from the back of Gregory's throat and James disappeared. Then it all went red as I fainted. You ask why it was red. It was because that is what James wanted. My blood. Great. Now i had a psyco bloodthirsty vampire after me. How could vampires think I smelled so good???????14

We decided not to go to prom, and Gregory wouldn't let me out of his sight.Even when I had to go to the bathroom, he stood right outside, hand on the doorknob, just in case.15

My father arrived home and Gregory had to hide upstairs in my bedroom. I would see him when I went to bed. I then had a sudden inspiration to tell my father about the voices and cloaked man(i didn't know his name at the time). 16

"Father, I need to tell you something..."17

He waited.18

I told him about the voices and the cloaked man that Gregory scared off. I don't know why I told him, because he then looked at me like i was going crazy. Of course, what did I expect? His reaction was obvious. Great.19

"Alice, i think you need to get some rest,sweety."20

I just kinda glided upstairs my expression frozen on my face, amazed that I thought he would believe me. It was then that I knew Gregory would refuse when asked if he saw this cloaked man to keep vampires a secret and I would be going to a white, fluffy room. Great.21

I went into my room and straight to Gregory's wating arms. I placed my head against his cold, strong, vampire-like chest and cried quietly in fear of the cloaked one. When my tears dried out, I looked up at Gregory and kissed him. Then I place my head once again on his chest and the darkness consumed me.22

I woke up in the white fluffy room. Gregory was sitting next to me with a grave look on his face.Great.24

"Alice,love, i'm so sorry." he said quietly with tears in his eyes that refused to brim over."It's all my fault,I-" But I cut him off.25

"That's okay, Gregory.I knew this would happen."26

"I know, love, but I let it happen.." he waited for me to ask why, but I remained silent.27

I sighed."Okay then, why." I smiled.28

"I thought they could keep you safer here than anywhere else besides a metal box." he said. His smile didn't reach his eyes.29

He sighed and then closed his eyes. I reached out for his ice cold hand and just looked at him as he thought.30

"How close?" I asked.31

He smiled at how knowledgeable I was, always knowing things before anyone told me32

"The cloaked man, as you call him, was right outside your front yard. I had to hide you as best as I could. It didn't work as well as I thought."33

I sighed before he kissed me, knowing that it was almost the end for my human life as our lips met.And I knew he wouldn't pull away, too scared that I would be gone in a few seconds.Like I was in a hospital for physically sick people on my deathbead.Like he loved me and didn't want to lose me.Because he did love me. Then, after what felt like forever, we pulled apart and wiped the tears from each other's eyes. Then, as he leaned in for what he though was the last time, he froze inches from my lips.34

"Cloakey is here." I whispered, knowing it was true. 35

He smiled, again not reaching his eyes as he sighed. Then he stood up and didn't even bother telling me where he was going, for I knew. He was going to talk to my bloodthirsty vampire.36

"I'm sorry, love. You should've gone to prom. It would have been your last time as a human," whispered Gregory. 38

He had arrived back from the woods and the cloaked man. Then we sat hand in hand as he thought about his options. He had finally opened his eyes, and from the look of sadness in his eyes, I knew what was coming next. Great.39

"There's no other choice."he had said quietly. 40

"I know." I had replied. He had looked me in the eyes and spoke slowly, like I really was crazy. But I wasn't, and he knew that, People were watching through a window in the door, so he told me his plan as if speaking to a loon. He explained to me how people turn into vampires,then told me that he was going to bite me so that Mr. Bloodthirty Ravenous Cloaked Man wouldn't have the urge to drink my blood. His eyes were watching me the whole time as he told me that the man was getting closer. He said he was sorry more than enough times. When he realized the cloaked man was almost here, he picked me up into his arms and hugged me like it was the last time. I didn't think it was.41

The people outside opened the door, knowing Gregory was taking me,and they tried to catch him as we disappeared. Or at least that's what it looked like. We were really running extremely fast. I knew this was the last time I would be in his arms and he would be running, but I didn't know that was the last time he would run.Great.42

We talked the whole time, for he was scared we was going to lose me. Neither of us knew that I would really lose him.43

We got to the middle of the woods and he told me he loved me. He knew this was it, and I would never be human again. So he smiled,and that was the last time I saw his smile as it reached his eyes. He really meant it this time. Vampires had always loved my scent, and he knew he would never have to hide me again. He whispered I love you as he bent ever closer. We knew that the cloaked one was at the white room looking for us, realizing Gregory had taken me. His lips met mine and we kissed for the last time. Then we finally borke apart, but he was still inches from my face. He looked sadly into my eyes as he whispered to me that he loved me, and if anything happened, he always would. I told him i loved him as he whispered it was time. Then he leaned down to bite me.Great.44

I don't remember those next three days and I woke up in the forest all alone. I didn't remember what had happened,then I had a vision of Jasper and me meeting up in a diner and going to find Cullens. I knew even then that I would have gone crazy if I hadn't known I was livig with Carlisle.45

James, the vampire who caused all this, had the same want for Bella that he did for me,though my scent was "better". I was the only one he had never gotten to "eat", if you will, before Bella.When James realized what Gregory had done, he had ripped him to peices and set him on fire, the only way to kill a vampire. He told me on a video, right before he tried to kill Bella.46

And that's my story. I know you guys were dying to know, and Edward was the only one who did, since, you know, mind-reading and everyting. Oh, and Emmett is going to get that grizzly bear for Christmas. 47

I would be sad and say that I lost Gregory, my one true love, but he is not my one true love. Because I met Jasper and he is always there for me. I will always miss Gregory, but Jasper is my true love now. Thanks to my coven for killing James, Our Bloodthristy Vampire. Great.48
