My Testimony

It was about 10:00 P.M. on June 25, 2000. We had just got back from game time at Church Camp. This church camp was at Canters Cave up in Northern Ohio. I had heard a message about Salvation that night, and I had no idea what it meant, so when we had got back to the cabin, Sara had asked Candace if she could show her how to be saved, and I felt God's presence in me and He told me to go tell her I needed salvation. So I asked her, and she took Sara and me to the back deck. I remember the exact words she had me repeat: 1

"Dear Heavenly Father, I know I'm a sinner, so I pray that you'll forgive me and come into my heart and save me. In Jesus name I pray, Amen"2

She told me that's all it took, and I felt so refreshed after that. God had really spoke to me the rest of that week. And ever since then, I've been in church, i fell out just recently, but I'm back and feel better than ever. So I've been saved for about 4 years and I was baptized on November 3, 2002, at my church. I've been witnessing to one of my best friends, Daniel, he doesn't believe in God, but I'm not giving up. I encourage you that if your not saved, to ask God to come into your heart and cleanse you of your sins. I will be praying for each and everyone of you.3
