Rose petals Ch. 13

During the party lots of laughs and games were shared as well as played. Kurama hung in the back not really feeling like doing much. Of course with four growing kits in your belly who would? taking a sip of her water she looked down at her belly and smiled a bit. 1

"Hey you don't want to come with us? It is your party you should at least have fun." Shizuru said walking over. 2

"I get tired very easily now with these four inside me..." Kurama replied.3

"Mind if I feel? Its not everyday one of my friends gets pregnant." She said.4

"They're sleeping right now...I'm sure one of them will wake up soon." Kurama said.5

Shizuru nodded some and brought her over to a bench helping her sit down seeing as how it was gift time. A small smile crossed Kurama's lips as she looked through all the gifts. 6

After the gift opening everyone gathered inside for a little relaxation time as Kurama leaned against Hiei breathing some as Hiei wrapped his arms around his lovers waist. 7

"Got cramps?" He asked.8

"Mm mm, dizzy." She said closing her eyes for a bit.9

That was one of the many things she hated about being pregnant, the weight gain was one. The dizziness, the mood swings, though she hadn't really been having many of them as of late. The food cravings and of course not being able to see her feet anymore. One more other thing she hated was the fact that her morning sickness seemed to have come back, though that was an on and off thing. And those annoying little things known as Braxton hicks contractions were already starting to make themselves known. 10

"Have you been feeling like that lot lately?" Keiko asked obviously concerned. 11

"Yeah you outta tell someone if it gets worse." Kuwabara said.12

"Don't worry its not that bad....it only happens if I stand up to fast, or I'll have sudden bouts of it." Kurama sad rubbing her stomach. "Hey you guys wanna feel?" Kurama asked hearing a round of yes as she giggled and let everyone feel her belly.13

After the party Kurama went home for the night sleeping.14

The next week would prove to be a bit stressful although whether it was more stressful for Kurama or Hiei the two would still be deciding. For Kurama with exams being being only two months away as well as the birth of her four kits a lot of planning was to be done which lead to her becoming more stressed and increasinly moody. For Hiei it was just dealing with it all and having to get things ready for the kits. 15

"Hey fox you still never answered my question." Hiei said laying on the couch watching his lover study. 16

"What's that Hiei?" Kurama asked looking through her notes as she munched on a pickle. 17

"Where are you going to be having them?" He asked looking over and seeing Kurama go down a checklist of the things she had already done, the eraser of the pencil laying on her lips as Hiei rolled over onto his side and watched her. 18

"I refuse to go to any hospital, and giving birth in the Makai is a bit dangerous unless I use one of my storage caves as a birthing den. But with the schedule I have I don't quite have time to be clearing out a cave." She said.19

"Let me know which one you want and I might move things out for you." Hiei said.20

"We still need names." Kurama said.21

"Your naming one after your mother right?" Hiei said. 22

"Mmm...one of he little girls will be Shiori Rose. As for the other three I was thinking Ayame for our second girl, and you can name the boys." She said smiling.23

"Hn you and the flower names." Hiei said. 24

"So pick something that has to do with a dragon and we'll be even." Kurama said crossing off another thing on her list. She smiled some at the progress she was making as she stood slowly bringing her hands to her back. 25

"Mmm..." She said and walked into the kitchen to get something to drink. 26

Hiei soon got up and followed to make sure his fox wasn't gonna pass out on him again. That had already happened once and he wasn't gonna take anymore chances. 27

"You look about ready to give birth now." Hiei said placing his hand against his lover's large stomach. 28

"Feels like I am, but its just the false labor pains I've been having...its getting a bit cramped in there. Mmm." She said smiling. 29

"What was that?" Hiei asked never having felt the particular movement he just felt. 30

"One of the kits rolled over....don't forget we have to look into birthing classes. Some of those relaxation positions I read about in books look pretty darn comfortable." She said.31

"Yeah yeah...22 weeks now huh...it'll be time to bring them into the world before you know it." Hiei said feeling a kiss on his forehead where the bandage was. 32

"Mmm." Kurama said nodding and giggling a bit when Hiei placed four soft kisses on her belly.
