Sincerely

Many ask me if I feel remorse, any at all, at killing Remus in my rage. The truth? No, I feel none. Remus was an aggravating fool who did not know when to shut his mouth, and I resented that. We were both sons of a god, doomed to constant competition with each other, so one of us had to die. It is unfortunate how Remus's death came about: a smear of blood leaving hardly a chance for my ruling slate to remain clean, or to be known as a kind being. There is, however, no remorse in my mind, no disturbance towards my conscience. Consider my brother's life the first tribute to my empire.1

Haud misericordia.2
