Walk Alone...Kill Alone...Die Alone.

Kaige smiled darkly as he looked over at Jimmy who sat in the corner, Jimmy's' arms wrapped around his knees, holding them close to his chest, his head leaning down into the pocket that had been created by his knees and chest. Kaige could hear muffled whimpers coming from the smaller and younger man. The smile from before still tugged at his lips as he sat in the chair across the room from the younger man.1

The whimpers and sobs from Jimmy came in great heaps of emotion, he guess it was because he was trying to hold his breath to keep it in, but, having to breathe after a while, he would exhale and the hastened breathing would come with sobs and whimpers and winces as the air rushed threw his scratched throat.2

Kaige couldn't handle the sound anymore, he growled and bolted upward out of his chair. "Would you shut up!" he shouted and hit Jimmy across the face, and already being against the wall, Jimmy was just shoved hard against it, his head smashing into the plaster. He groaned and began to fall over, but held himself steady by propping himself up with his outer hand. He refraimed from looking up at Kaige, already knowing exactly what his face and expression looked like, he knew he was scowling down at him. "Gah, you disgust me!" he mumbled as he sat back down on the chair across the room, shaking his head as he did so. "I've got no idea why I have to babysit you." he grumbled to himself. "Brian's' job anyhow." he picked up his book again and read on.3

It was quiet for a while, not even Jimmy made a sound, but then the door oared and opened. "What?" Kaige answered with an angry tone, but the tone and expression was soon shot away as she saw who was at the door. "Oh, sorry, sir." his face paled. "I-I didn't know it was you, sir." he said and John Briggs walked in wearing all black.4

"Yeah I know you didn't know it was me, if you did you'd be super human and then I wouldn't have you baby sitting would I?" he asked and Kaiges' head lowered. "Would I?" he repeated.5

"No, sir." he answered. his head still bowed.6

"Thank you." he said and turned to Jimmy, frowned and turned back to Kaige. "Bring him." he said and walked back out the door.7

Kaige did as told and grabbed Jimmy by the arm, shoving him across the room, Jimmy hit the hard floor, the air was knocked out of him with a rush and before he caught his breath again the rough hand of Kaige grabbed him again, jerking him back up onto his feet.8

Their car arrived at the side of a lake. Briggs stepped out first, then Kaige. Kaige walked to the back of the car and opened the trunk, shoving his arm inside to roughly grab Jimmy's' arm, yanking him out of the back. He grunted lowly and dropped Jimmy onto the sand floor. He grabbed his arm and pulled him up, dragging him over to the side of the lake where Briggs stood, Jimmy pulled squirmed under his grip, pulling at his grip.10

"Stop--- errr--- squirming---ugh---STOP!" he dropped Jimmy and hit him again. Jimmy curled himself into a ball, Kaige kicked him in the stomach then grabbed his arm again, dragging him all the way down to the lake and threw him down. Jimmy's' arm splashed into the water, soaking it to the shoulder. Kaige just left him there and walked back to Briggs. "When are they suppose to be here?" he asked and Briggs shrugged.11

"They said 3:00, so soon I suppose." he said and then suddenly the sound of tires treading on gravel, they looked over just as a green Land-Rover pulled up over two hundred feet away from their own vehicle. Three men walked out of the car and started to walk over to Briggs and Kaige. 12

"Your late." Briggs said shortly.13

"It's 3:02." the taller of the three men said as he stood in front of Briggs and Kaige.14

"Yes and you said 3:00... 3:02 is not 3:00 is it?" he asked. when they didn't answer he shouted, "IS IT!" 15

"No." the man answered finally, his face completely confused by Briggs' question. the man shook his head. "Where's Jimmy?" he asked and Kaige pointed down at the Lake. Jimmy sat there with his hands behind his head and his elbows flopped lazily to the side, his knees drawn up to his chest. A flash of concern spread across the mans' face, but then it was gone. "We have the money, give em' here." he said.16

"Alright, Alright, just hold on." Briggs said and nodded over to Kaige whom walked down the the slope and grabbed Jimmy again, dragging him up the slope and in front of the three men, two of the three stepped forward unconsciously, concern flashed across their faces. One of them frowned as he saw the bruises on his face and his bleeding lips, his eye was swollen and body was shaking uncontrollably.17

One of the men from Land-rover pulled up a duffel bag and shook it lightly. "Here's your damned money now give us the kid." he said and Briggs nodded.18

"Alright, on three." he arranged and the three nodded. 19

The bag was tossed and Jimmy was shoved over, the taller of the men caught him and stepped back, pulling Jimmy with him, he stopped after several paces backwards.21

the Land-rover passengers heads turned to every side as two low beeps sounded.22

"What was that?" one of them asked, but there was no answer. They looked back at Briggs and he smiled and pulled out a wakitalki and beeped the intercom button and held it to his mouth. "Head Shot, Moki." he said and held it down. The Land-rover passengers faces paled.23

"NO!" one of them shouted just before his head exploded and his limp bleeding body fell to the ground. The others looked down at him with horror when the second man was shot threw the throat, he gargled his blood for a moment before the head shot took him out. Only Jimmy and the man that was holding him were left. Briggs just looked at them and smiled.24

"Don't do this, Briggs, please." the man begged, Briggs stepped forward until the end of his gun met the middle of the mans' head.25

"No one tells me what to do." he said and pulled the trigger. The mans' eyes rolled back and blood leaked across his face and he fell onto his knees and keeled over to the side. Briggs looked over at Jimmy and smiled. 26

Jimmy backed up to get away, but was tripped by something or other and fell onto his back, he squirmed and crawled backwards, but a abuse starved foot met his back and he was forced to the ground, Briggs turned him over and put his foot on his throat. Tears were streaking down his face and getting caught on his cracked and bloody lips. Briggs just looked at him, putting no pressure on his throat. He waited. "I don't wonna die." Jimmy managed to say before Briggs' foot crushed down on his throat. He gagged and gasped, his hands reached for his throat, but never got there before he suffocated.27

He leaned down and grabbed the case of money.28

"I know." Briggs said to the now lifeless captive. "I know, lad." he said and walked away and as he walked he pulled up his gone and shot Kaige in the head, he fell aside.29

A smile tugged at Briggs' mouth as he strode away from the dead bodies. The sun shown on his dark clothing as hes stepped into the drivers seit of their vehicle and drove off.30

Now he was rich, a kidnapper, a murderer, a traitor and there was nothing anyone could do about it. He thought as he drove down the sniper running him over with his car, reversing and shooting the suffering man in the head.32

No one would ever know.
