When my eyes open in the morning the first thing I see is his chin. It’s a nice chin; neither delicate nor akin to a brick and (I thank all the gods in heaven every morning) bears no resemblance to a butt. 1
This afternoon I’m laying here thinking about how wonderful every part of him is. Most days we don’t get to spend lazy hours just hanging on to each other, so I take this moment to enjoy every breath. I’m a little annoyed with the way his shirt smells but I have no one to blame for that but myself; it was my turn to do laundry the other day and I must have left our cloths in the washer too long…2
His arms around me are like a warm blanket, almost too warm with the fleece blanket around my shoulders but I’m far too content to move. If you had told me a year ago that this is where I would be this particular Sunday I would have laughed in your face at the sheer impossibility. Well…improbability.3
It’s almost impossible for me to look back at myself a year ago without chuckling at my lack of self-confidence; even then I must have been passionate and beautiful. 4
It took him reminding me every day for me to finally believe it. I sigh in contentment; there are other days for contemplating, for now I just want to breathe in the moment. I love him so much. 5
I tuck my head under his chin and let myself drift back to sleep.

a little stream of concisness...stylisticly rather different from my usual work

I'm afraid this isn't exactly what I was looking for, though I did like it. It was very cute, and I adored it! I especially liked the part about his chin not looking like a butt!
Good stuff!

I definitely loved this

It's like, a little peak into the girl's life, with a little bit of the past, and a peak into the future.
Did I just use the word peak twice in one sentence? Oh dear. I'm in trouble
Anyway, I really loved it. It's sweet, and peaceful, and written beautifully.
Great job, thank you so much for entering my contest, and I wish you the best of luck!

That is really good. Are you keeping this just as it is, or continuing with it?
Good writing. -
Awwwwwwww this was cuuuute! I liked this. I'm a hopeless romantic so this story charmed me. Very well-written and quite cute. I liked this. Great emotion! Good job!

This was a very sweet and descriptive piece. I enjoyed it and its sweet simplicity. I like how you go very deeply into your descriptions, as well as the narrator's feelings, but you also give a bit of background. Very well written. There were a few minor comma errors, and one spelling mistake, I believe. One quick revision/edit should clear all that right up! I really enjoyed this, and thank you for your entry. =]
