"Guys dinner's ready." Julia called looking around only seeing Jet and Spike. 2

She blinked some wondering where Faye was and set dinner down for them feeling Spike's arm come around her waist and looked down at him smiling sitting next to him. 3

"Enjoy it boys, its not often I get a chance to try my hand at making curry...where's Faye?" She said laying her head on Spike's shoulder.4

"She went out looking for something, she'll be back soon don't worry about her." Spike said trying the curry.5

Julia nodded some worried that Faye would miss one of her meals, but hearing Spike's reassurance seemed to calm her down a bit. She smiled a little happy she could lay against her lover like this. She could remember back to the time when this would be a rare thing for them. But now that she was with spike, and for good, this just felt so right. She frowned some as her eyes began to close. No not yet, just let me stay awake and enjoy this a little longer. She thought soon closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep. 6

Jet saw Julia fall asleep on spike's shoulder and smiled a bit. He had to admit having her around wasn't so bad now, and Spike despite the constant Chaos that went around on the Bebop seemed calmer as well. He could remember a time when he himself hadn't known Julia, but the very mention of her name seemed to spark some deep rooted, memory. From what he understood, the two had been in the same syndicate Spike wanted to take her from it...and that man known as Vicious. I wasn't to long after Spike's thing with the syndicate that he met up with the man and the two became bounty hunters.7

From what he gathered Julia had made herself disappear came back to Spike, died, and then came back again. Just like Spike. Those two were meant for each other.8

"What are you staring at?" Spike asked breaking Jet from his thoughts. 9

Jet gestured at Julia and Spike blinked some looking at her seeing her asleep and smiled. Now a days with an active baby inside her Julia tended to not get much sleep. Spike himself wasn't sure what he could do to help that so he smiled and was happy she was at least finding time to rest. Reaching over slowly he gently placed a hand on the mound that was his lover's stomach smiling some feeling a few small kicks. 10

"Shhh, let your mother sleep." Spike said feeling the kicks soon settle. "That a girl." Spike said smiling. 11

"Oh its a girl?" Jet asked surprised since the two hadn't been out to see any doctors.12

"Just for talk sake. Julia wants a girl. She said if we try for a second she wants that one t be a boy so the place isn't over run by women." Spike said as the two of them shared a chuckle. 13

"Your not one of those father's that wants a son instead?" Jet asked.14

"Oh I want a son but for now a girl will do." He said. 15

The two sat in silence for a while until the door of the Bebop opened. "Hey I'm back." Faye said.16

"Find what you were looking for?" Jet asked hearing barks.17

"Oh no..." Spike said frowning.18

"Faye Faye!" A girl called moving out from behind Faye and blinking as a welsh corgi came out and hopped down. 19

"Ed." Spike and jet said as Spike brought a hand to his head.20

"Nnn...Spike what's all the commotion?" Julia asked opening her eyes and looking back seeing Ed and Ein. "You should have told me you were bringing Guests, I would have made another plate." Julia said smiling.21

"Don't worry about it, Ed knows how to help herself. Oh Ed this is Julia, Julia this is Ed, and the mutt here is Ein." Faye said.22

"Ed? That's an odd name for a girl." Julia said slowly standing wincing some. 23

"Julia." Spike said worried.24

"Its alright, its just my back..." Julia said walking over. "Its nice to meet you both...how about get you two something to eat?" She asked. hearing Ed's cheers and walked off with the two.25

Two months later Julia stood in the kitchen in her normal dress and apron cooking looking back seeing Ed chopping some carrots up as she smiled. Julia had taken an almost immediate liking to Ed within the short two months that the girl was there. Julia supposed it was her maternal instincts kicking in. Though she felt it with her baby, even if it wasn't born yet, she was beginning to feel more like a mother than ever. looking down at her large stomach she gave it a gentle rub and smiled. 26

"One more month and you'll be born hmm little one...here want a taste of mommy's stew?" She asked pouring a bit in a small saucer and drinking it smiling at the kicks that followed after. "Glad you like it." She said smiling hearing Ed's whine. 27

"Ed?" She asked seeing her run over. 28

"Juuuulllia....Ed cut herself." She said holding up her finger showing a small cut.29

"Hmm hmm, now now its just a small one." Julia said going to the sink and wetting a cloth smiled at Ed putting the cloth on her finger. 30

"There now this will stop the bleeding...hold it like this for now while I go find the band-aids." She said leaving and coming back a while later.31

Ed blinked some watching Julia tend to her cut and looked at Julia's stomach for a while. She smiled when Julia put the band-aid on her finger and kissed it. 32

"All better?" Julia asked slowly standing. "Goodness your making it harder for mommy to stand now." Julia said rubbing her stomach. 33

"Juuullia why is your tummy so big? Are you gonna explode?" Ed asked. 34

"Hmm...no no...although I feel like that sometimes. I have a baby growing inside me. She'll be born in a month or so, come on now let's finish lunch so when the others come back they can have their meal." She said letting the stew simmer and went to the cutting bored getting another knife.35

"Let's cut these together shall we?" Julia asked looking back at Ed and smiling. 36

Ed just stared at Julia for a moment blinking. What was this feeling she suddenly had, Ed had never had a mother before and had grown up alone most of her life, so something like this was new to her.Nodding after a while Ed ran over and got up on the little step stool. 37

"Now hold the knife like this, and your other hand like this Julia said letting Ed hold the knife as she helped her chop the rest of the carrots.
