~I. A.M H.I.M~
Picking myself up off the grass I wiped my dirty palms clean adjusting myself so that I looked remotely presentable. 1
I could not believe that Hamish would betray me like that. My friend, my love, my boyfriend. Well no more. He would soon see what betrayal felt like.2
I had a plan, one that I had always had in the back of my mind in case of a severe emergency like this one. One that could make all my problems disappear.3
I looked up towards the window, seeing their silhouette's behind the glass, clenching my fist hearing their voices in the distance. I hoped they were happy, I hoped they would enjoy their final words on my behalf. I did not plan on coming back once I was on the road.4
Steering my eyes away from the window I Prayed to God that Hamish would at least do one better and stall them long enough for me to disappear. I only needed a few minutes to escape the street lights, then I was Scott free until I was were I needed to be.5
As I continued to look around, my body half frozen. My thoughts running laps around my brain. I suddenly remembered I had left my purse at home, sitting on my bedside table. All the money I had saved up for this day would go to waste, there was no way I could go back home now to get it. Even if I tried my mother would probably beat me to it, then I really would have no chance at being Blake without her bickering, and questioning.6
Think Blake... Blair... Blake...Blair, I muttered to myself, pondering weather or not I had enough time to break into my mother's car to steal some cash from the glove box that I knew she kept in for emergency's. 7
Fuck it, I hissed, Like that bitch will ever give a fuck what happens to me.8
Running across the lawn, I jacked open the car door. Leaning across the seats to open the glove box. Taking the yellow envelope in my hand I quickly shoved it down my blouse, crumpling it inside my bra making sure that there was no way It would fall out before I scrambled across the seats and stood outside the car. Slamming the door shut.9
BLAIR IS THAT YOU, I heard the familiar voice of my mother scream from the heights of Hamish's bedroom window. Panic immediately striking me like a hammer to the head.10
Turning away from the door, I gave the envelope one more shove into my bra, before beginning to run across the empty road and into the darkness. Not once looking back to see if they were after me.
