The Speckled Wall

He stood there admiring his work of art,that's what he liked to call it "his work of art". He laughed at his own little joke. The whole family was dead. The mother, a young beautiful woman with long blond hair, hazel eyes, a slim figure, and about 5'4 was lying at an odd angle with about 29 stab marks on her. She had been wearing a white t-shirt and a faded pair of jean shorts. The shirt had said mother of four, on the back it had said,"including the husband". Although you could'nt tell what it said now cause it was drenched in blood. 1

He laughed then walked over to where the husbands headless body lay. He had been a handsome man with Sandy blond hair and blue eyes. He had a well-built body and if he was standing he would have been atleast 6'0. The dead man was wearing a muscle shirt and jogging pants. It made him look like he was older but his features made him look younger. He looked around searching for the dead man's head. After a moment he spotted it laying by the six year old boys dead body. He laughed it looked like the head was trying to protect what was left of the child's body, which wasn't much. The little boy had the same color hair as his dad and his moms eyes. He looked to weight only 49 pounds and was probably no bigger then 3'3. He had on a superman t-shirt and a pair of jean shorts. He was missing an arm and leg where he had chopped them off. He wondered what he had done with them. 2

He then walked over to the 3 year old little girl. She was a cute little thing with bleach white long hair and blue blue eyes. she had been wearing a little flower covered dress. She only weighed about 33 pounds if even that and was about 2'2. She was missing the bottom half of her body which was still sitting on the chair where she had been sitting just moments ago. He then went over to the two kittens. He laughed at the mess he'd made with them. They'd been gutted and there innards lay hanging out of their tiny bodies.

She sat there with Lulu and Yoko her kitten and wolf pup. She had gone to the closet to get a blanket when the scary man burst through the front door. She sat there listening to her sobbing labored breathing and Yoko's constant panting. After what seemed like an hour she peeked out the closet door. 4

She realized instantly that the door wouldn't open all the way just enough for her arm to slide though. She searched around with her hand till she found the small wooden stand that had the phone sitting on it. At first she had no idea what to do or who to call, but then remembered how her mom always said to call 911 if something bad happened. It took her a minute to find the flashlight so she could see the numbers to dial them. She listened then heard a ladies voice.5

"Hello 911 what is your emergency?"6

Timidly She began to cry, then willed herself to stop and answer the 911 lady.7

"H-Hello, I need h-help."8

"Sweetie don't worry. Tell me what happened and how old you are?"9

"I-I-I'm 5 years old and a scary man came into the house with a large knife thingy."10

"OK honey, tell me where you are and is he still there?"11

She let out a tiny sob and said, "No I-I don't think so and I'm hiding in the closet, but it won't open and I don't hear mommy and daddy. I think he hurt them!"12

"OK sweetheart your being very very brave, now I want you to tell me where you live so I can send some people to help you and your mommy and daddy?"13

She started to panic she didn't know where she lived. She started to cry.14

"I-I-I don't know!?"15

"Shh calm down your a big girl, now I'm gonna put the phone down for a moment and ask the lady beside me something, OK?"16

"O-OK"17

She listened and heard the nice lady say, "do we have a trace?"
another voice responded, "yes and the police are on there way."
The lady spoke again.18

"OK honey I'm gonna stay and talk to you till the people come to help you."19

She screamed.20

"Honey! Hey what's wrong?!"21

"There's There's some sort of red stuff coming under the door!"22

The 911 lady knew instantly that this was going to turn out awful.23

"OK honey it's alright it's just paint OK? Now will you tell me your name sweetie?"24

The girl calmed down and said, "My name's Yuki Night and my kitties name is Lulu and my pet wolves name is Yoko."25

The lady noticed the name right off, but didn't say anything about that, "Oh well those are all beautiful names, mine is Sue Ann. What do your kitten and wolf look like?"26

"well Yoko is a white wolf with a black eye, ear, and paw. Lulu is a pure white cat with a black paw and a brown tail."27

"oh they must be beautiful. What about you honey? What do you look like?"28

Yuki thought for a moment then said, "well daddy says I look like mommy except I was born with solid white hair and blue eyes and I'm real skinny like mommy too!"29

Sue-Ann was amazed she'd never heard of a child with white hair before. Mia had said that she thought Yuki was an angel. Maybe she was right?30

"Sue I hear a loud noise?"31

Sue could hear it over the phone now too.32

"Don't worry honey those are the people come to help you. I have to go now. I have to help all the other people."33

Yuki was saddened she liked Sue and wanted to talk to her more.34

"OK thank you Miss Sue!"35

The line disconnected.

She heard voices and then someone shouting her name. She knocked on the closet door and heard footsteps coming towards her.Then she heard voices again, "Oh god, This is one sick fuck. Help me move this woman's body so we cant get the little girl out." She heard more noises and then saw the handle move. When the door opened the first thing she saw was two large shadowed figures. She screamed. The first officer walked up to her and picked her and the animals up then carried her out to the ambulance to get checked for any wounds.37

She sat there listening and watching all the people. One conversation struck her interest and concentrated on it.
"This is the 9th family slaughtered in a month!"38

"Yes, But we have been able to connect all the others together atleast?"39

"what you mean the birthmarks. Those things are hardly worth slaughtering all those people!"40

A lady in a white Mercedes pulled up. She spoke to a police officer for a moment before being escorted over to Yuki. Yuki recognized her instantly when she spoke.41

"Sue Ann!"42

The officer next to Sue spoke up. "Your God Mother is here to take you home." Yuki was confused she didn't know what a God Mother was but didn't mind all that much she liked Sue. So she took Sue's outstretched hand and was led away from all the chaos.

She sat there staring out of the window in Sue's car. Sue looked over at her, taking her eyes off the road only for a moment and nearly running off the road. She let out a frustrated sigh as she pulled off to the side of the road and layed her head on the steering wheel. Yuki looked at her fresh tears spilling down her cheeks and said, "Mommy, Daddy, Bubby, and Sissy aren't coming back are they..?" 44

Sue lifted her head and looked over at the fragile little girl crying in the seat and saw that she could'nt lie to the girl. She reached over and held teh whimpering child close and said, "honey i'm not gonna lie to you because it will only make matters worse. They all went to heaven and are going to watch after you from there." Yuki nodded.
