Author notes

Hopefully it'll make you think. All the references to objects are chosen because they fit, for various meanings. Take your own meanings from it, as you see fit.

Note for Competition: I have entered anothe rpoem in this contest too. It is called 'From the Window'

* There! I changed the title. I don't know why, but the new title appealed to me, even though I've got no idea why/ if it fits!

I like this it really does make you think. I tried to do poetry reflecting on color before but could never make it work. I do love this. Thank you for entering my contest and good luck.

I just noticed! The background picture is also symbolic! That's genius! /coincidental. But let's give the benefit of the doubt.

I chose the background because it has every colour I mentioned, and it shows how they all flow in and out of each other, blending together and seperating. Just like the emotions I mentioned. Does it have a different meaning to you?

    Whoa...

This is a trip! About half-way through I actually fell into the rhythm of it and I just felt... wow. My head kind of throbbed and I kind got a dizzy feeling... I don't know, this was beautifully constructed and it flows so effortlessly it's feels like a mental trip to the beach and the waves of words and meaning are just flowing backward and forward and at one point I kind of got lost in what the words actually meant when strung together but I didn't want to slow down, I was just pulled along by the strong current of the RHYTHM... and the way you move to a next colour and you wrap it with another... oh my goodness... I could talk about this poem for ages... That rarely happens! I was so caught up! And it's lengthier than poems I'd want to read but it's just soooooo good! I... I love it. It's something I'd come back to and read over and over and over and I'd be sure to see something new every time. This sounds dramatic but it had a crazy effect on me. I love it. Wow. One second, I'll read it over and find fault.

You need a stronger title. There you go. Something bad.
