Searching

I’ve memorized your face1

It still feels like I still can touch it but now you’re gone2

You were my last tie to earth 3

Now I’m floating neither her nor there 4

Caught in limbo5


I’ve stowed my body in the green paradise while my soul roams free 6

Searching always searching for the one that was to be, 7

The that should have been, 8

The one that could have been 9


When I cry the earth seems too feel my pain 10

So it rains on the mundane,11

But this is a dirt that has seeped within,12

As I return something flashes, a dove 13

The eternal sign of love 14

And in the midst of my hell a single feather fell15
