Hi. I honestly hope you can keep secrets, really well. Because what I’m about to tell you may change your life forever. And no, I am not pulling your leg, because this all happened, to me and a few others.1
It’s kind of strange, the secret I have. Not your average ‘I’m afraid of the dark’ sort of secret, because I have a lot more to be afraid of than that. 2
People think I’m weird, studying animals and writing poems. But that’s because I am different. And they may be half way towards discovering what I have kept so quiet over the last year.3
It all started after I moved up from primary school. All of my friends had gone to other schools, and if I hadn’t moved house a year before, I would have gone with them. Most people hate going to school (from what I have heard), but I was one of the few who liked it. Except my senior school was a million times larger than my old school, with over two thousand people who knew what they were doing.4
But there always had to be something good about a new school. And for me that was Katie. She’s in my tutor. Within a week, we had become inseparable, two peas in a pod. My new best friend.5
Just to get you quickly up to date, my mum is a scientist, and has brown hair and eyes, like me. But I’ll stop with the history lesson, and get on with the interesting part.6

Thanks! It may take a while to continue this one though, because I've just had a brilliant idea for another story, and simply must write it down.
