Death by Love

It's just another day. She's seen it before. It's nothing new to her. She hears it often....silence. It's the same yet so different. He left again, but she can't hold her own. He's not comming back, and now she's all alone. If he could he'd be with her, this she doesn't know for she can't know. This time it wasn't his fault he left, but it's too much for her to take. She cries, cuts deeper, and drinks down the bottle. She goes to the nearest store, and steals the gun. She can hide it in her jacket well..no one sees it. She passes by her mom with a fake smile, and gets nothing in return. Her mom has something else to do..she always does, she'll never know anythings wrong, she doesn't care. Her dad sits drunk on the couch, he's almost always like this now..he hates her right? So no way will he miss her. She cries alittle heading to her room and she writes the letter.1

"Dear mom and dad,
I'm sorry I have to leave you, you never said the one thing I needed so bad to hear, but he did. He left me like this and I need him. I love him. If you read this you probably won't care, but I thought you deserved a reason why I'm doing this....Goodbye"2

With that her pen dropped and the gun shot. A few seconds later her father ran in. He saw her bleeding, saw her cuts, and where she had shot herself in the chest, he turned and walked out. Her mom finds her just in time. Now she wakes...she's in the Emergency Room. "You tried to kill yourself" She keeps hearing. She knew she had...and she had seen him again..but only for a short time and here she is again. That's when she hears the news, "Your pregnant". She cries. Not only was she taking her own life..but his and her child's life too.3

Months later she loses teh child...her dad had hit her in teh stomach and now the baby is gone..again she cries. She goes to her fathers den knowing what she has to do. She finds teh gun, the one she used last time. She again slips it into her jacket and takes it to her room. Staring down teh barrel she realizes this is what she wanted. She put teh barrel into her mouth and pulls the trigger. She died that night. But she died with a smile and a light heart, she knew she was going to be with him finally and she was happy..finally....happy.

How is it?

Kind of quick to leave a really strong emotional impact. Spelling 'the' as 'teh' takes away seriousness from it. You could expand on this and make it longer with background information and events leading up to this point in her life. That way it would make a much stronger impact on the reader. Otherwise it has great potential.

This piece seems to demand more - it reads like a listed sequence of events - and lacks any emotional depth, and gives the character the feeling of detatchment. Try giving the reader further insight into her thoughts and feelings.

Apart from that, it was, overall, and interesting piece. The plot is a solid foundation for further development.

Keep writing and welcome to Storywrite!

Thanks a lot, It was a quick story mostly made just to draw out the events in your mind. I see the story giving a person a picture of the events which is what I was headed for.
