I Wish I Had A Dragon (complete version)

the wizards acts were amazing. nothing like the smoke and mirrors rubbish most magicians would use. he gave himself ten fingers on one hand, blew up an egg, turned an audience member into an ice cream, blew up an egg, exploded a toad and finished without blowing up an egg. instead he just walked off stage. it was odd. but i was the only person to stand up and say something about it. and thus it was me he looked at, me he levitated across the room, and me who he asked if I could grant you one wish in exchange for an immediate exit what would it be? I naturally asked for a dragon. I expected a plush toy or an excuse to get out of doing anything. but instead he asked me to take my seat and told me he would see to it that i got my wish. when i got to my seat it was occupied by a large brown egg. everyone else in the theater had mysteriously left. so i picked up my egg and carried it outside.1

I was hit as i crossed the road.2

When I looked up I didn't find a car. But a big bull Dragon-ox. Everything had been sent dragon. The pet store across the road was now a dragonarium, the birds in the sky were wyverns, nowhere could i find anything but dragons. So I knew the place to go to get home. In a world of dragons the safest place to live would be in a dragon colony. I looked at the egg. But what kind of dragon colony?3

Duh wyverns. They may be twice as big as dragons and forty times as deadly but in a hive of them would be the safest place to live.4

But how to get there? all I had was an egg.5

The shop manager at the dragonarium ran out calling Hey, Hey I've got your Cobra Throated! that was helpful. the man just happened to have waiting for me the second largest wyvern of the world.6

I found my wallet bought the dragon and flew it home.7

and that is about as far as my story ever got.
