A writer is someone who expresses their soul with words. An artist in its truest form. For an artist has found a way to express their soul. Whether through ink, paint, marble, voice or word the soul shines through. An artist does not have to match up to his work entirely but in the depths of the art lies the outline of its creator.1
A voice shines through any work created by a true writer. A personal stamp on a sometimes generic idea. There is a quality that binds every work together and identifies its master. This voice will not always be on the surface but it will always be there.2
A true writer will take that soul quality and use it to enrapture and intoxicate his reader. The audience will feel what is meant to be felt for every word is places to make a feeling. The story is not what takes a reader captive. It is the soul. The soul behind the words drives everything. For a real writer has found a way to harness their soul and put it to paper.
