Selene knows what the disease, but no one believes her. After all she was the girl who claimed an influenza epidemic was starting when everyone sneezed at precisely the same time in English class. She tries telling the doctors but they claim the disease could never reach this level that quickly.4

She tries telling anyone with power but few believe. Very few sided with Dr.Crishet. Who else would? She was talking about a disease that killed half of England during the middle ages. Who would want to believe her? There's too many cases for her to stop it on her own.6

She watches in horror as the fate of a city is decided because of some doctors who wouldn't believe what they saw. She wants to stop it...but who is she to try to stop the return of the plague? One little girl against an act of nature so strong it kills many in a single day.
