Satan's House

A house once stood on the tallest hill, in the middle of nowhere. The locals of the nearby town claim that it is haunted, restless spirits wander: never to leave this place. Stories tell of how the ghosts came to be, about the owner who killed his wife and children, then shot himself in the throat with a rifle. They say the soul of the owner can be seen wandering the halls with his rifle looking for living victims to kill. People go in, none come out, by the next day the bodies are nowhere to be found. The bodies are said to be eaten by the house, sustaining its life force. Brave tourists enter to only meet their demise, but all end up the same, dead. One man claims that once on a stormy night he looked through the large bay window, what he saw chilled his bones and made his hair stand on end. Ghosts were seated around a fireplace, some were reading, writing, sleeping, and even talking. They are reported to be the lost souls of the people who lost their lives to the mysterious "Satan’s House". Any who shall enter this forsaken house shall never see the light of day again; HAhahahahahaha!1

It shall never end as long as the foundation still remains, the spirits will return and remain for eternity.2
