Amythist Mallorca chapter 1

There we were me and mum that is on a plane flying to our new home in Mallorca mum had a friend here and didnt want to miss a chance on seeing him also she got offered a job so nothing was stopping us on coming over here we lived in Leicestershire and it only took 2 hours to get to Mallorca. Back home was on Leicester was pretty boring there were no cultural places like beach parties because it was in the east midlands we were miles away from any beach there was no holiday hotels or anything like that but a Mallorca because its were people have a holiday itwill be so much more different right. Well anyway that was ages ago and we're here now in our new home its really modern and amazing me and mum have never be strapped for cash so we have managed geeting on with life fine after my dad left, my mum had told me the story only once about my dad i never knew it basically went like this they met on a romantic cruise she was on a holiday and he worked as a barman on the ferry they fell in love and had me but then this man left Sandra my mum and had to cope alone. I had the feeling that this was only half true you can always tell when my mum lies about some things. Well anyway here we were in this new home our first day we had allready been here for an hour and a half. Mum was acting very strange trying to get things done very quickely and she was unusally quite normally mum was a relaxed do-it later sort of women. She was very pretty my mum everyone at home said i looked like her alot i hoped i did i always found i was a bi to thin i definatley didnt want to be fat but i was quite small and thin, my hair was ok elbow length blonde and wavey quite strange when in water it was wet when i was in water but as soon as i was out it was dry again as if i hadnt even been in at all fluffy and wavey as ever, i wasnt bothered about this is was good really because when i went swimming it was easier just weird having a shower. I never understood this strange hair thing neither did mum she said it was a thing some people went through. Well i'm looking forward to today anyway first day here home right on the beach what more could we have asked for mums cleaning she reckons this place has never seen a duster. "Were's Kim and Aggy when you need them eh Amy" shouted mum from the other room. Typical the first nice looking home we get and she wants someone else to do the cleaning she's normally a right clean freak once when i went round my friends house Rogen mum came to pick me up and she got invited inside and oh god she was so horibbly embaressing Rogen never talked to me again well she came inside and said to Rogen's mum "I'm so sorry Ms. Thomas but im afraid my daughter cant come here again unless this place gets tidied up a bit its disgracful" it was agony watching Rogen and her mums face they were so angry because they couldnt afford to keep the house nice and might have to move out soon to a smaller place. Well at least i'll be able to make some new friends after the holidays in six weeks i'm going to try really hard to get into a good crowd of people and not hang out with any losers this time. I went to my new bedroom it was clean and smelt of Oust. I sat down at my desk and started to read it was a book i had from home i found it in a cardboard box when we were packing it was really good called the Mediator about a girl who could talk to spirits it was really spooky and cool. I wished i had somthing special about me i know its not bad being normal just boring. "Amy, i've finished cleaning so come and have a look around our area with me we're going to be living here for a while now so we have to set a good impression" said mum.
