A reflection can be in such hurt to a one that looks in the puddle of mud , the thick ripples of shame as the picture of themselves looks back at them in vain..3

A reflection can hide the many pains that hide behind a simple smile, they hold the cry, the hurt and the blame with that laugh and a simple nod its way to easy to miss the hurt that lingers over their frame.5
A person can make a difference of the reflection of who they are, release that pain and fear, by taking the extra step to show no fear....reflect a smile to someones face, make a change to any race, or male, female to show the love you have for them to embrace.6
Stand up tall to make a difference in the one in the mirror you see, take big steps that are larger and longer than the largest trees.7
The world is a reflection of who you are and what you made it to be, make a change, take the first step and make a difference of the person within thee.8

For some people its very hard to compare things, or find contrasts to certain things, and it makes my heart smile to see that you noticed the comparisons and the differences in this poem.
As for being spiritual ? I do have a spiritual heart, so all the stories that are written on SW have a hidden meaning in their somewhere...yet thats just how I write....I don't push anything, I don't shove...I just write all stories out of enjoyment and with a smile.

Self Reflections
My reflection is one of many things at certain times, in different ways. Soetimes when I glance at that young woman in what seems to be my "rubric for life" I see myself as He sees me.(He referring to God) Sometimes I see the creative, easygoing, laid back side of me. Yet sometimes, and more often than not, I tend to see myself as I've always seen me; I simply don't think about it but in doing so, I've become a victim of deception for I've deceived my own self into believing that just because I love myself to an extent, that all my self conscious issues are gone when the reality of the situation is: they're not entirely gone yet.
It was these words here that captivated my soul and turned the essence of my being into a metallic waterfall:
"A reflection can hide the many pains that hide behind a simple smile, they hold the cry, the hurt and the blame with that laugh and a simple nod its way to easy to miss the hurt that lingers over their frame.5
A person can make a difference of the reflection of who they are, release that pain and fear, by taking the extra step to show no fear...."
When I took the time to actually contemplate that concept, the unwanted truth shocked me, scared me. Oh how I wish to se myself as He sees me!

Proverbs 3:5-6?... Let's see. "Trust the Lord wth all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding but in all your ways acknowlege Him and He shall direct your path. I think. (I did that from memory). I don't think how this will help me as far as my "reflections" are concerned. Can I ask you something: Can you be my writing mentor?

When I see myself, I see someone crying for help. Crying for someone to talk to. When I look into someone's eye's and see my reflection, I see a smiling face who is never sad. I guess it's my friends...everyone who helps you in the world that makes out what your reflection on the world becomes.

What do I see in my reflection?
A person who wants to be loved...deeply...by another person, a person other than her kin, her friends.
Probably because of that, I relate most to these lines:

Is it because I am a guy that makes it hard to remember ?
I remember your SW pic on a comment from a few stories ago, but honestly I couldn't put my finger on it.
So I went to your profile and started with your link to youtube, and progressed my way to the bottom of profile.
When I reached your 'Quotes & thingamabobbers', not only did I see a line of mine from a few stories back, yet I saw my SW name and the name of the story, with a quick link to the story ! (that tickled my heart)
(sorry to spill my guts, this all happened moments ago)

I totally got this as I read it. The way people kind of hide behind themselves sometimes. I know I have done it myself too. Kind of like hiding behind a mask to avoid being loved or hurt sometimes and learning how to overcome that fear. I have really over came a lot of mine lately. Some that I never thought I could. Brilliant work, as always. I so enjoy reading your works. They always have the most fascinating meanings that lay beneath the surface.

I had to laugh cause the pic was suppose to be a reflection back on to earth....yet not only on this page, yet I got a few I.M.'s asking or saying that looked like a sci-fi at first glance...I couldn't see what was spoken for awile, and then CLICK ! the pic came into my little brain and i saw...not what i saw, yet what if first looked like.....yet I couldnt change the pic...it ran to well with the story.
I appreciate your comment on the "hidden meaning" , because that shows me this touched you....as with getting a book binded..well

You had to make me laugh, because well, I might enjoy watching the 90's t.v. series "Dead Zone" as well as the "Outer limits" as well as the 'sci-fi' movie "Back to the futer"
Yet to write a poem or even a story , well you can stop holding your breath on stories/poems to come, because as much as those are interesting to watch...I can't write them !
Yet the handful of stories that have seen posted in the past few months is what you will read in the futer (thats not sci-fi) , just different perspectives and topics.
Yet thats what I believe the comment section is for(to share ones input)....and the author can eather take what was written and use it in the futer,..or be foolish and ignore it.
