Order in the Court

Adam is awaken by a knock at the front door, he drags himself out of bed,walks down this long hall way to the front door. He peeps out the window, and he sees Carla standing on the porch. Wiping his eyes, he opens the door.1

"Hey what's up?, I thought you were at home in the bed". 2

"I was, then I remembered I forgot my briefcase on your dinning room table, so I came to get it." 3

As she goes over to get the briefcase off the table, she pulls her coat off, and she is naked as a jay-bird.4

"Hey, what are you doing girl"? Adam asks in a broken voice.5

Carla turns and faces Adam, puts her arms around him.6

"Look Adam,I know you want me, just as much as I want you".7

"But...But... we are just friends". 8

"Yea, right, Carla said"."Kiss me you handsome boy". 9

So as they engaged in a bliss-full kiss, Adam picked Carla up and took her straight to his bed room, laid her down on his heart shaped bed,they made passionate love that night.When morning arrived, Adam awoke to an empty bed, Carla was gone.  He started fixing him some breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast and coffee. He thought to himself,10

"Oh, man that was some night, I didn't know Carla felt this way." Sitting down at the kitchen table eating his breakfast, a knock on the door. 11

"Dam, who is it now?" 12

He goes and answers the door, when he opens it there is a package on the door step, he opens it and inside is a pair of handcuffs. He laughs out loud to himself. 13

"Carla is something else".14

He phones Carla to talk to her about the package he received. 15

"Hey, I got your package." 16

"What package, what are you talking about"? 17

"The one you sent , you know the handcuffs".18

"Adam...hold on for a minute, OK, I'm back, I don't know what you are talking about, I didn't send a package. Look can I call you back." 19

"Sure". He hangs up the phone. Now he is wondering who sent this package to him.20

Adam goes and gets ready for work,takes a shower while in the shower the phone rings, he doesn't hear the phone. Adam comes out of the shower with a towel wrapped around him he notices that the light on the phone board is blinking.21

"Oh, I got a call".22

While listening to the message, he's trying to make out the voice on the other end. 23

"Did you like the gift I sent you?" 24

Adam gets dressed for work. He walks into his office at the law firm.25

Places his briefcase on his desk, his secretary Sharon walks in.26

"Hi, boss how are you feeling today"? 27

"Fine Sharon, and you"?28

"Oh, I am OK." 29

"Well I guess you can take dictation now". Adam stands up and faces the window, Sharon starts laughing hysterically. 30

"What's so funny Sharon?"31

"Oh, did something strange happen today". says Sharon.32

"Like what?" Adam question.33

"Did you receive a package?" 34

Adam turns and looks at Sharon. 35

"You sent the package?" 36

"NO, but there is talk going around about it, there was a note on the break room bulletin board about your package."37

"OK, stop with the foolishness, let's get back to work. As I was saying."38

Sharon can't stop laughing, she tries but can't.39

"Yes, have the letter sent to Judge Goodwrench". 40

"Right away sir".41

Sharon leaves the office, goes back to her desk and types the letter. The phone rings. 42

"Hello...yes he's in, may I say who's calling?" 43

On the other end of the phone;"tell him the God mother wants to talk to him". 44

"Adam you have a call on line two."45

"Yes, may I help you?"46

After the conversation with the client God Mother; he grabs his coat, walks out of the office.47

"Hey, you coming back?" 48

"Yea, I be back in about three hours."Adam says. 49

He gets inside of his black Mercedes Benz and drives off, he approaches the Give-head tavern, walks in and goes to the bar and orders a drink. 50

A lady dressed in a red dress walks up to Adam. 51

"Hey, can I buy you a drink sweetie." Adam asks.52

"Yea, that's very kind of you sir." the lady says with a sweet tone voice. 53

"Hey, bartender give the lady what she wants." 54

The bartender turns and start mixing a drink for the lady. She orders a gin and juice.55

"A gin lady, huh." Adam asks. 56

"Yea, I like a mellow drink, nothing heavy". Adam looks at his watch.57

"Oh, I got to get back to work." 58

"What kind of work do you do? Oh what's your name sir?" 59

"Adam is the name and yours?" 60

"Kim is mine." 61

"Well to answer your question, I'm a lawyer." 62

"Gone Mr. Law man." 63

Adam starts walking out the tavern, gets inside of his car, drives off. Making his way back to his office, one of the Judges walks towards him.64

"Hey Adam, can I see you in my office lets say about an hour?"65

"Sure." Adam says reluctant.66

So Adam returns back at his office, his secretary Sharon stops him at the door.67

"Hey boss, Judge Good-wrench"68

"I know, I saw her in the hall way."69

"I hope nothings wrong." says Sharon.70

So Adam is awaiting for the hour to pass so he can go see the Judge. He comes out of his office, hands are sweaty, he always get sweaty hands when he is nervous. He passes his secretary's desk.71

"Be calm boss, I'm sure everything is OK."72

Adam finally approaches the Judge office, knocks on the door. a voice from the other side of the door.73

"Come in." The judge says.74

Adam walks in and he is surprise at what he sees. He sees Judge Goodwrench dressed in a black leotard,fishnet pantyhose, without her robe. he just stands there looking shocked.75

"Adam, what do you think?"76

"Judge,.... I don't know what to say."77

"Tell me that I am sexy fool."78

As Adam tries to tell her how she looks, she walks over and gives Adam one of these long and luscious kisses.Then she walks to her desk, throws the papers off the desk, lays up there on top showing her legs.79

"Adam, come here."80

As Adam walks closer, she opens one of her desk draws and bring out a pair of handcuffs.Looks at Adam with this sexy look.81

"Dam, Judge you in that kinky shit, I would have never dreamed that you were like this, you always so professional".82

For a split second Adam remembers the gift he received at his front door.83

As the judge grabs Adam and throws him down, rips off his nicely pressed iron shirt. 84

"Judge,...oh, hell naw, not you. You not the one who sent me the handcuffs are you?"85

"What are you talking about Adam. No, I didn't. Why would I do that?" 86

"Oh, never mind." Adam says. 87

Commotion going on outside of the office,someone knocks on the judges' door, they hear some moaning and groaning coming from the other side of the door.After the heated up sex, Adam puts his clothes back on and leaves out of the office, with his shirt outside of his pants. He is walking down the hall way when a lady approaches him.88

"Are you Adam?" the woman says.89

"Yes, I am, and who may you be?"90

"Well my name... or they call me Godmother, and I need a lawyer."91

It is storming outside, the both of them walks to his office. Godmother takes her coat off, lays it across the black leather chair that is in front of Adams'desk.92

Adam is wondering if he had an appointment with this client today.93

"Have a seat mam, now tell me what's seems to be the problem?" Adam says politely.94

" Well I,...killed a man, only in self defense though. You see it was one of my old male friends. Moreover, we started arguing and fighting so, In addition, he threatened to kill me, well there you go, and I did what comes natural, I killed him before he can kill me."95

" I see,well if it was self defense, you have no problem, but as you know we would have to prove it to the jury if you get arrested and it goes to trial."96

"Will you handle the case if it do?"97

"Yes, I will, my fee would be $10,000.00.98

"OK, that's fine."99

"May I ask what is your occupation?" Adam asks.100

"Well have you seen the Godfather movie? I am just like him only Godmother."101

After hearing about the occupation on Godmother, Adam realizes what kind of case he has on his hands, he also realizes that he would have no problem getting paid. Godmother stands up, holds out her hand for Adam to shake to conceal the case, then she leaves out of the office. Adam takes in a deep breath, then he exhales. Sharon walks in the office, finds Adam daydreaming about his case.102

"Hey, boss are you alright?"'Sharon says.103

"Sure...sure... I guess so."104

It is approaching 5:00 p.m. time for the law office to be closing, the guard is going around to make sure that people are leaving the building and to lock up. People are walking towards the elevators, waiting on it to approach their floor. Judge Goodwrench comes out of her office and catches the same elevator with Sharon and Adam. The elevator reaches the lobby, they all get off and go their separate ways.105

"Adam , where are you headed?" the judge says.106

"I'm going to the Give Head Tavern."107

"Well, I'll see you in court tomorrow." judge says.108

It is raining hard; as they walks out of the building and approaches their vehicles and drives off. All of a sudden there is this loud noise like a bang. A accident occurred on Hampton and Spruce street involving a yellow Toyota and a Blue van; driving the Toyota was Sharon. Adam stops to try and help, he calls the police from his cell phone, they arrived about fifteen minutes.109

"Sharon...Sharon the police are on their way, hang in there girl." Adam says crying.
