happy queensday? (column)

yesterday was the day before queensday.1

the night was awfull, hear the mindless music overwhelm the city.2

it only had a beat, which was franctly the same, for 4 hours long.3

and today it's queensday.4

people try to wear orange. they think you can wear orange, because it's queensday. the people who wear orange, are a bit strange, don't you think? WY DO THEY EVEN THINK OF WEARING ORANGE? IT'S ONE OF THE MOST HORRIBLE LOOKIN COLOURS YOU CAN WEAR (next to yellow, of course).5

my mum is one of the dummies who want to wear orange. so we walk through the city, I try to pretend I'm not really there, with my mum wearing orange, I'm wearing black. yes. it's the day when all the idiotic people gether around and be who they are, trying to find trash on the market, stuff you don't want to buy, but what they want to buy, because they need to spend money. they don't ever go shopping ( I think that's why they still have orange shirts in their closets) except on queensday. it's kinda the day when their stuff is getting sold. somewhere is someone singing false, and the sound is all over the city. and I live in the city, so his sound is going through the walls into our living room. I'm trying to not hear his songs, so I put on all of my cd's. seems like I don't have enough cd's. and what's perfect today, is that my mum has gone to her boyfriend earlier this afternoon, so I'm doomed to be listening to the crowd's small talks, and the voice of this awful man. so I try to put my frustration on paper, so that it seems to be better.6

and the people think they have an excuse to be drinking all day ( the reason why they are so stupid) and having a one night stand. God bless The Netherlands, right?7

so now I'm trying to think of a way that this singer will shut up, and that the crwod will leave the city. maybe we should just kill the royalty, so that we don't have a queensday or am I being radical now? don't mean to be radical mates, just trying to see something more in this shallow day.8

so for everyone who has queensday, try to avoid the people in orange, and the drunk singers, or maybe just don't try to buy a house in the city. (omg, I'm singing along with this guy: c'est la vieeeeee...now I hate myself too xD )
