Sitting with you,
Up on the bed.
And in my lap,
There lies your head.1

Passed out from a little too much,
I wipe a tear away from my eyes,

You start to move
And finally you awake,

You look up at you,

You look up again, not saddened like before,
You actually have what appears to be a smile.
You slowly start to sit up on the bed.
"I haven't heard that in a while.8

For all my time, this is how it ends.
One night you decide to leave, you can't do it anymore.
You wait until I wake up,
And leave me on the floor.9

I cry and weep but get over it soon.
I'm a man of many actions you see."
Your smile begins to shrink,

Was to just get rid of me?
You pretend to pick up drugs
And then from your relationships, you flee...11

But I'm so used to old ways."
"Then break away from those,
And start new ones today."13

"Do you know how hard that is?
I have to become a new man.
It's gonna be hard, I don't think I can.14

I'll have to go through intense therapy,
Suffer from the withdrawal of cocaine.
Fear losing you to another man,
And that's way too much pain."15

"I'm promising you now,
Change today and I'll never leave you.
Become a better man
And I'll stay around all the way through."16

"What about after?
What will I live for then?
After my therapy and what not,
Will love letters to you, I must send?"17

"No. Never. I'll be at your side,
I'm gonna help you like I said.
The only way you're getting rid of me,
Is if I'm completely dead"18

"Just tell me one thing,
How do you plan to do it?
You must have a method.
I don't think a person like me can fit."19

"Nonsense. You're a very strong man.
And pretty normal, too.
We can find you friends.
But to your promises you must remain true."20

There he sat, thinking to himself.
I watched his thoughts but the look on his face.
He looked at me again.
And says that he needs to change his ways.21

He slowly pulls out a shiny little object,
It appears to be a gun.
He pulls the trigger and shoots me dead,
Then sits back and looks at what he's done. 22

"You said the only way to get rid of you,
Was if you were completely dead.
I made that come true,
