~Christmas 2004~

Christmas 2004 was SOOOO much fun! Well, when my mom was around, anyways. The stupid nursing home she's a nurse at made her work on Christmas because they were too short of people for the early morning shift, So my mom worked from 6:30Am to 3:00Pm (Which isn't that bad, that is if it wern't on Christmas). So, I woke up at 5:45 and ran into my brothers' room and woke em up. Robert woke up like as soon as ran into the room, so he watched as I scared the hell out of Pierre, it was pretty funny as soon as Pierre realized what was happening, anyways, so then I practically dragged them into the living room, and then I tracked down my dad who was ruunning about, and I got them all into the room by 5:55 (I mean, come on, that's got to be some kind of a record). So my mom was sitting on the couch, Robert was standing by my dad, I was sitting on the floor near the tree, and Pierre altered on and off form standing and sitting on the floor. My family has a thing about making your present a mystery, I mean, near Christmas time, they like grow extra ears and get you exactly what you wanted, it's really amazing. 1

Anyway, so first we let my mom open her gifts: She got a figurine I gave her of an angel playing a violen, and it had doves in a snowglobe pearched on a bible, I got her it cuz I play the violen, and my mom likes angels and doves, so she was very happy with that, she also got a pair of gloves like her mother's(who is no longer with us,I love you Grammy) from Pierre, she was even happier with those, she also got a cross with like purple gem thingies in it from Pierre, too, she got a cook book from Robert cuz she loves to cook, and she also got this kick-**** clock from my dad that has like these little people in it that dance and play music every hour. She also got some stuff from friends. 2

Anyway, next my dad opened his presents:3

He got 5 different kinds of insence from me cuz I know how much he loves insence, he also got insence form Pierre, but it smells differnt, and it was a set with a holder(of corse, there's Pierre, trying to outdo me...*sigh* again, j/k), and he got three dvd's from Robert cuz he likes movies, and he got four jazz cd's form my mom because(oh! you guessed it) He likes jazz. He also got some stuff from friends 4

Next Robert opened his gifts:5

Robert got this game he really wanted for his gameboy to play at work (he's a security gaurd working graveyard, needless to say, you need something to do at a job like that), He also got a figurine of a white tiger cuz he likes white tigers, and he got some cards to play and a cd. He was very happy with his gifts, he said he was so happy to have something to do at work when he got home today. he also got some stuff from friends.6

Next Pierre opened his gifts: 7

He got NBA live 2005 from my mom and dad, needless to say, he was stupidly happy(his life is basketball, oh, by the way, he made varsity this year, go Pierre), he also got Tony Hawk's Underground 2 from Robert, He really like's those Tony Hawk games for some reason, and yeasterday, even I kept wanting to play it, it's fun! He also got(this has to have been the best gift he got) Nightmare Before Christmas arm warmers form me! They rock SOOOO much! They have Jack Skellington on them, and they are just the grestest things ever. He also got a bunch of other stuff from friends that I don't really know what is... I really should pay more attention.8

Last, but definetly not least, I got to open my gifts:9

I got a Nightmare Before Christmas necklace! It has Jack(my hero) on it, and bats, and I got hair chopsticks with jack on em, too from Pierre. They so rock! Then Robert gave me my present, and guess what it was. That's right! I got "The Art Of Drowning" AFI cd! That's right ladies and gentlemen, my collection is almost complete! And from my dad I got the gold charm braclet that I wanted! It has crosses, and a heart, and a sheep, and a key, and all this great stuff on it, and I love it so much, it's so pretty! Then I opened my bigger box from my mom, and guess what it was! that's right! A Greenday shrit! THE Greenday shirt I should say! It's the one that has a clover with a safety pen through it, and it says "Kiss me, I'm punk"(you know like the whole "Kiss me, I'm Irish" thing), I've wanted that shirt since like 2 years ago, my mommy loves me! I also got candles and lotion/bath sets, and penguin logod stuff, and the comfy p.j bottoms I'm wearing right now, and a little teddy bear I named "Teddy", and a lot of cards and candy canes, and a basket, and other random things from friends. I really really enjoyed my presents this year, it was a lot of fun getting them.10

Anyways, I know it's very rude to be all about presents on someone elses birthday(Jesus'), but this year, sitting in the living room with my family, it was great. I really enjoyed those special family moments because ya know, my family's getting older, I'm the baby of the family, and I'll be able to drive in less then two months, my family's always so busy these days, differnt scheduales and such, and we rarely get to see each other anymore, so spending Christmas with my family ment so much more then it ever has, this year. I would really like to thank Jesus for that, Christmas is only here because Jesus was born on this Earth, this wonderful place, just to die for us and without him, not only would we not have Christmas and Easter, but we would all burn, painfully in Hell one day. Thank you so much Jesus! And you guys, I'd just like to say, don't take anything for granted; Love your family, and treat them well, no matter what. Thanks so much, and Happy Holidays!
