When Aisling finally picked up the phone, it was a girl's voice that responded to her on the other end. "Excuse me, but you'd do best not to meddle around in other's businesses, Miss", the voice replied to her. Aisling took a moment to try and comprehend exactly what was going on, whether it was a hoax or a call in all seriousness. At this point, it was an annoyance to have a little girl try to reach her, much less telling her what to do. She countered the sting with, "Yes, but how can I do so when I'm learning so very well from you, my dear? Doesn't your mother or father actually take a moment to care about you? I'm not a substitute for a parent, so I suggest unless you actually have a reason to be in the Hospital, that you not call back." The voice did not respond, but towards the end, Aisling swore she heard two different voices chattering in the background. One a boy, and the other the girl from before.1
It was of no occurence for Aisling's mind to become concerned over the girl's words, so she let the lingering leave from whence it came. There were wanderers profiles to oversee, and at that she reopened the case files, and went back to work. If she had paid any attention to the glaring message from the sign above, she would have seen the warnings, but she paid no mind. The cold, metal sign matched its warning of two Blights. Fear had yet to ripple through the delicate skin of the girl, but it would soon approach. Not even when Aisling found the ones responsible for the "hoax". It had yet to settle in as she worked over each line.

It was not until the scream barbed through her ear canal that she knew something was terribly wrong. Lights began to flicker, until the building was in complete obsidian bliss, and slowly Aisling rose. When her eyes settled upon the fragmented spirit before her, it was when the alarm sounded. As her feet took her away from the sight, her body was being pulled back roughly. Aisling's insight sensed the darkness before her brain did, and it allowed her to struggle free from the pincer grasp.3
Before her line of sight stood a girl, who looked not much older than seven years old, at least. The child's blonde hair was gathered into large spiral curls, which settled against her rosy cheeks. There was a pneumatic look to her, which made the black Victorian dress stand out even more awkwardly than the sick grin upon her thin lips. "My name is Ciel Glum, Miss. There is a call waiting for you, but you might not like it very much."4
At this, the child laughed, and dived at Aisling, though the girl's fight or flight response knew better. So did Boss, as her hunger grew for the abyssmal creation that dared to harm a soul. This is where the Raven took over, and Boss made it to the front door before Aisling's heart pumped enough oxygen, and her body enough energy, to make it there before she. Boss looked over the pneumatic doll, and smiled, as she half-laughed, half spoke, "My, have you not taken enough mercy souls for once? I see you are pale now, but wait until I drain your entire essence away, and you will look all the more beautiful. I promise." 5
Aisling felt a tug at one end of her uniform again, but this time it was a boy, roughly the same youthful age as the girl. He glanced only at Aisling's face once, and said to her softly, "If you give up quietly, we won't have to rid you." That was not a promise the boy would keep, as Aisling knew, and so she prepared herself to rid the boy and girl. She was to save her own life, and protect Boss from the hungry fiend that took over her spirit, piece by piece. 6
She was going to make the insanity worth it, and save the others in the process.7
