Can't you see me standing right here?
Tears flow down my face,
smudging my darkened eyes,
causing my angelic innocence to disappear.
Blood escapes from my wounds,
paralyzing me in absolute emptiness,
shattering my heart, leaving me broken.
Everlasting pain is all that I feel
and it won't go away or leave me be.
Can't you see me standing right here?
I'm calling your name to get you to notice me.
But you won't even acknowledge my prescence,
which is causing me to feel these horrid
leathel injections to my heart.
My fingers touch the invisible glass wall that keeps us separated.
Space is all that is separating us but it is you who broke my heart.
It taunts me to the point of insanity.
Can't you see me standing right here?
I'm dying inside,
and dying to get you to love me.
I'm crying, dying, broken, and bleeding,
but you can't see me before you.

Author notes

~Red Hot~

This is dedicated to the boy who I once liked and had deep feelings for him until he recently broke my heart and blew me off in front of his friends and in front of everyone else in school because he knew I liked him. He knows who he is. I still have feelings for him though.

I'd like to thank Yoshiki of X Japan for inspiring me to write this poem and for making me have the courage and feelings to want to write it. And the person in the photo above the poem is Yoshiki.

This was the greatest painful and sad love poems I have ever read and came across. Your style made this great and so did your author's notes.

This has to be one of the best painful love poems I've read recently. I like your style and the story in your a/n only adds to it. Thank you for entering my contest and good luck.

A very interesting poem emphasizing physical and emotional pain. I think it would have been cool if you had described an invisible barrier that separated you two. Like: "My fingers fall on the glass wall that keeps us apart. Its only space that separates but its you who break my heart." Or something like that. I've been writing poetry for most of my life and I feel that this would add a little flair to the poem. All in all very good. Message me if you have a question.

Thanks for taking the time to read and comment on this. I do agree with you on describing an invisible barrier that separates us to the poem. I really like your idea.
