Ready, Set, Go!

She jumps over the fence and runs.1

He chases her, calling her name.2

She looks back a bit, her eyes narrowing.3

"Go away!" She shouts, taking a turn.4

"Wait!" He slid past her turn, tumbling a bit.5

As she runs,6

She pushed people out of her way.7

"Hey!" One shouts.8

"Sorry." She mumbles.9

A grunt from afar,10

She stops and looks back.11

In a daze she stands,12

As he tackles her on the way.13

"Got yo." He huffs,14

Holding her arms down.15

"Ready?" She questions.16

"For what?" He returns.17

She leapt forward his18

Back on the gravel.19

She gave him a smile,20

The road she will travel.21

She stands up and smirks,22

A new void burning inside of him.23

"Set..." Her arms spread out, as if waiting for something.24

He shakes his head 'no' and blinks once more.25

"Go!" She shouts, a new form growing.26

His eyes widened as he crawls back.27

Her teeth is fangs.28

Her nails are claws.29

Her eyes are sharp30

And waiting for him to fall.31

Into the deep abyss,32

She gnaws at his shoulder.33

He yelps and cries34

But she only dug harder.35

His body turns numb,36

Hers go limp.37

A mumble of some words,38

Was all she heard.39

"Dark Paradise, alas you have come with the Apocalypse."
