Country Loving Chapter 4

Terri ordered two eggs with sausage. Cheryl ordered the pancakes with bacon. Cheryl got her food first.1

"You know your probably eating my pig right now?" Terri said pointing to the bacon. 2

Cheryl took a bite. "Well if he's your he sure does taste good."3

The waitress brought Terri her food. She smiled then went off to wipe the tables.4

"Looks like someone likes you Terri."5

"Come on Cheryl. I got my eyes on someone else right now."6

With that a husky man walked over to their table. "What ya got here city sleeker?" He picked up Cheryl's plate. 7

"The best food I ever had." Cheryl looked at Terri. Terri's eyes grew narrow she was getting pissed. "Do you mind I would like to finish so I can go."8

"Too bad you can't because your not going yet."9

The short stalking waitress came over. "Excuse me sir. Your going to have to leave if you don't stop disturbing the customers."10

The man pulled his hand back and hit the waitress. She fell to the floor. Immediately Terri stood up.11

"What ya goin to do dyke?"12

Terri punched him once in the face and he went down. Then she kicked him a few times. Until Cheryl's hand rested on her shoulder. Stopping Terri just looked down at the man. She kneeled down and whispered:13

"Pay the waitress at the cash register, say your sorry, and leave."14

The man went and paid the bill. He left without even looking back. Terri went over to help up the waitress. 15

"Thanks. The meals are on the house."16

"No Ma'am we're going to pay for it."17

"Well I'm not going to take your money." The waitress walked back into the kitchen. 18

Terri put a fifty dollar bill on the table. She grabbed Cheryl's hand and they walked out. They both sat in the car and waited. The waitress came and began to clean off their table. She saw the fifty and she smiled. Cheryl pulled out of the parking space.19

"Thanks."20

"Your welcome."21

"You could've gotten yourself killed."22

"Hate to burst ya bubble but I'm a black belt in karate. I wanted to protect my mom when my dad left. So that is what I did for two hours everyday."23

Cheryl kept driving. Terri turned on the radio. Billy Curringtons Tangled Up came on. Terri began to sing a long. Cheryl enjoyed listening to her. It just seem the time flew by. She glanced at the clock six it read in green. 24

"Next exit will stop for supper and get a hotel room."25

Terri's eyes glistened. Cheryl laughed.26

"You better not be thinking what I think your thinking."27

Terri just smiled. "Well then we'll go to the hotel and order room service. How about that?"28

"Sure that sounds good."29

Cheryl pulled off the exit and found Hucklebee's Motel. One of the fines motes in the south it read under the sign. Parking they both got out.30

"You go in and get the room. I'll grab the bags."31

"OK I will meet you in the lobby then."32

Terri went and grabbed their bags. Going into the lobby she saw Cheryl waiting for her. Cheryl meant her half way.33

"There is a room with two single beds. It's the only one they got. Would you want that?34

"Sure it's fine."35

Cheryl took the keys and paid for their night. Waling up the marble stairs Cheryl felt she should've gone with a honeymoon suite again. Opening the door to their room. They both dropped their bags. Cheryl shut the door. They both went and laid on a bed. 36

"Ah finally." 37

"What hsould we order?"38

"I want a salad."39

"Oh that sounds good. We'll make that two. Champagne?"40

"Sure." 41

Cheryl called it in. Hanging up the phone she rolled over and looked at Terri on the other bed. Terri laid and stared at the ceiling. She felt something was going to happen and she hoped it would. 42

"So tell me about yourself." Cheryl said interrupting her daydreaming.43

"I am a small town country woman. My dad left when I was young. My mom died when I was 18. I knew I was a lesbian at the age of 12. Had my heart broken many times. Lost my first true love to a guy. I thought that was it for me. I managed to pull through. My anger rose over the years but it's better than it use to be. I started wirting poetry when I was 7. My first book was at the agoe of 20 second at 25. Ok your turn."44

"I am from the spend but spending the time in the country with this very hot woman and I'm enjoying it. I went to Yale for my law degree. I knew I was bisexual at the age of 14. My first girlfriend was killed in a car accident when I was 20. Dated guys before and after but knew it wasn't the same. So I stopped dating them all together. Wanting to find the right woman. I knew that I couldn't live a lie and be something that I am not."45

The knock at the door scared them both. Jumping they both went to the door. Terri shoved her lightly with her hip.46

"I got this one."47

Cheryl back off and let her get it. Paying the bell hop Jordy he went bouncing down the hall. Terri laughed and wheeled the cart into the room. 48

"Dinner is served my head."49

Cheryl's eyes lite up. A smile came across her face. Terri went over and pulled out Cheryl's chair. Terri sat down. They ate dinner in silence.50
