Whispered words of death
uttered in the sinful night
Red crimson rivers
trickle down a marble pillar
Gashes of hate
scarring silks of white
Gashes of sin
shattering innocent souls1
Clouds of night
veiled across the eyes
Lost tears of rain
fall from open wounds
Ribbons of secrets
fluttering in the night
Ribbons of red
wrapping broken promises2
Forgotten smiles
shimmer in fading light
Abandoned hope
falling in shards of glass
Oceans of pain-
drown in their depths
Oceans of darkness-
surrender to their sins3
Whispered words of death
uttered in the sinful night
Dark sins of life
fall on morning skies.4

I don't really write poetry by the way, and this is the first poem I've written that is symbolic

O.O Okay, that kind of scared me O.O In a good way t hough, if that makes any sense It's good for a first symbolic poem. It might have better flow if you tried to rhyme a time or two ^_^
