Large emerald oculars stared ahead at the others already out in the paddock. The ones who slept there. She groaned as she stood slowly, her unwieldly body making it difficult. Bianca was an Azteca mare who stood at about 15 hands. She had been a birthday present to the old farmer's daughter for her 15th birthday. Her coat was a luxoriously soft chocolate color. Her swollen body gave great pressure to her legs but she stood anxiously awaiting her master's morning greeting. She was slightly past her foaling date and she knew the old farmer was anxious for a colt to be his next prize-winning stallion. She also knew the old farmer's wife was expecting a filly for her younger daughter. She nickered happily as she saw Valerie, her owner, coming around the back of the old farm house, the bridle and lead in her loving hand. She snorted a little in anticipation as Valrie neared. She sighed in relaxation as Valerie's warm gentle hand stroked her muzzle. She brushed her head closer then gently lay down as Valerie directed her. She nickered again at the familiar sweet crisp of her morning apple. She neighed softly at the forlorn face Valerie wore. She knew Valerie was worried about her and her foal. She snorted in fear that Valerie was displeased. She suddenly felt a great discomfort inside her and she looked to Valerie nervously. Valerie sensed her fear and stood quickly running back to the farmhouse. Bianca stood slowly and began to pace the stall pawwing at the ground ,her tail switching anxiously. She dropped gently to the ground and looked around, then stood again resuming her pacing and pawwing. Valerie returned a few minutes later to find Bianca lying on her side. The old farmer whisked his daughter away letting Bianca have her privacy and to call the vet. Hours later, Bianca felt the foal slipping out towards the ground. She sighed as the pulling sensation left her. She raised her head and looked tot he foal who lay beneath her and she turned gently cleaning it until it raised its head and stood gingerly and wobbly for its first feeding. Bianca nickered until Valerie, the farmer, and the vet came running. Bianca then looked to her foal and nickered softly to her newborn son. The farmer smiled at the possibility of having another prized stallion and immediately gave the colt the name Morning Sun. He then looked out to the paddock to see the colt's father, Sunset, watching intently. Over the years, Morning Sun grew quickly over the years, fathering many colts and fillys that went on to win races. Bianca and Sunset had a filly after Morning Sun, that the farmer named Xanda, and quickly gave to his youngest daughter on her 15th birthday. Valerie used Morning Sun's colts to start her own breeding farm which prospered for years to come.1

This was a very nice piece, enjoyable to read and really gave a soft and warm feeling while reading. It really doesn't go with all four options though, it's more like simply option 2. I didn't really see much of the connection between owner and pet. It doesn't apply to option three either, it has nothing to do with the picture. And option 4, well, no all the items listed to be in the story are not present.
But I enjoyed the story just the same. Very good write! -
