Does Anyone Notice?

Everyone likes you for your smile1

It's so nice and comforting2

You always greet them with it3

But they don't know you like I do4

They don't know that you hide your true feelings5

They don't see how much you want to cry6

Or when they seek your smile when they're feeling down7

When all you just want to do is tell them to shut up and leave you alone8

But as usual9

You smile and offer a coffee

    This is a simple, little work, but I really like it. I think just about anyone can relate to it. It's quaint and even a tad heartwarming. Well done.
