Let's see, what would you want to know about me. I'm me, I'm Melissa who lives in the state that movies sometimes have fun making fun of, Ohio, at least I've noticed that, but I'm from the state, so I would. I am a Christian and take my faith very seriously. 1
Let's see I have a sister, who is a true artist, not only in the sense of she can draw and paint and all that, but in the sense that she does that, plus she's a very moody girl, which is my opposite.2
I don't get emotional, heck I can watch "A Walk to Remember", a movie I love by the way, and not cry. Last time I actually cried during a movie was during "Lion King" when it first came to theaters, I think I was about three years old, almost four. That's the last movie I've ever cried at. I have yet to figure why that is though. Few people ever see me emtional though, when I'm angry I will get really quiet and sulk, my intimate family, such as my mom or my sister, rarely my dad, will get the angry side of me. Don't get sad often, but when I do, same as when I'm mad. Think that's the reason no one really knows when I'm upset really because I'm quiet by nature, it's not a bad thing though for me, I never want anyone to know, mostly because I'm this happy, life's always good person. People don't need to know my problems, even if they're my family or my best friend, it's just how I deal, mostly 'cause most of my problems are not that big and because I really don't let a lot of things faze me.3
I like my music, my sister gets sick of it, yells at me for not being able to go without music, but at times it's true. I have to have my music. Don't know how many times she's told me it sounds like the singers are depressed, but I like it. Songs where the singer is angry or slighly depressed have more depth, I'm not a big fan of shallow songs, such as most love songs.4
I've never dated, but it's cool. I'm still in high school, though for only a few more months and any relationship that I might have tehre, may not last. At this age we're young and stupid and don't know what end's up. College, guys still aren't the smartest, but they're smarter and a little, and I mean little, more mature.5
Law is the direction for me in life. Family law more specifically. I want to defend those who are hurt by their family or those who don't have a family. They need someone to fight for them and I want to be that person. Probably helps a bit that I love to debate, I really do. I actually hate it in class when the class is dismissed and a debate or discussion is cut short. 6
So that's a little of who I am. Nothing special, just me.

Wow.
This is officially on the finalists list
And you should know, I don't take things off of it. I jus tdon't. If at one time I think it deserves at least an HM, then they will.
So.
I love how personal this is. It shows me so much about you. And I love the ending; 'Nothing special, just me.' Did you do that on purpose? [Title of my contest.] Well, it was brilliant.
And you followed the rules, of course.
And this was just...great.
Especially the touch about you wanting to defend people from their families or people that don't have families. That was really inspiring, even in a few shrot sentences.
Great work. Thank you so much for entering my contest, and I wish you the best of luck!
