Gentle Rains Ch. 9

A slight moan would escape Ororo's lips as she placed a hand on her nightstand leaning over a bit as she breathed some. A slow rub of her belly would follow as she tried to stop the pain in her stomach. Now that she was seven months along in her pregnancy, come extra cautions had to be taken to make sure she and the baby were safe. The fist one being her bed rest. About the only time she could get up was to use the bathroom, and if she did want to get around she was confined to a wheelchair. Second was the issue of her stress cramps, so Hank had suggested this was the perfect time to take her maternity leave. At first it didn't seem all that bad, now she was bored outta her mind and in a lot of pain on top of that. She hoped her baby wouldn't come early, that was the last thing she needed. This whole pain thing had started not to long after she went to the bathroom. She was planning on going back to bed to rest more, but her body had something different in mind.2

She frowned some soon feeling the pain melt away as she groaned a bit and sat down on her bed rubbing her stomach feeling a few kicks after. 3

"Mmmm give me a break." She said frowning some laying down and bringing the sheets over her body so she could return to resting. 4

A week later Ororo was able to come off of her bed rest and had taken to a new strange schedule. A massive cleaning spree of practicly every room in the mansion. The first few days people didn't really mind but now it was starting to become annoying. 5

"What's up with her anyway?" Jubilee asked blinking some. 6

"Nesting instinct kicked in." Logan said leaning against the door frame.7

"It seems so." Hank said watching Ororo cleaning the kitchen. 8

"Boys if your gonna stand there, at least help me move some of the heavy stuff so I can dust." Ororo said looking at the two. 9

"I'll help." Jubilee said. 10

"No you go upstairs and study young lady." Ororo said going back to her dusting.11

It would take most of the day to get the whole mansion done, but by dinner Ororo was happy with her accomplishments and smiled some seeing Logan and Hank sitting down, the two obviously tired from helping. Ororo smiled some and gave them both kisses on the cheeks as she went up to her room and cleaned it up a bit and moved a few things around so there would be room for the baby once he was born. 12

"Mon Dieu Stormy have fun?" Remy asked.13

"Mmm...." Ororo said leaning up and bringing her hands to her back. 14

"You know you shouldn't be bending down, your gonna hurt yourself." He said going to her and holding her as he rubbed her rounded stomach.15

"Mmm....but he bed and things needed to be moved, and I didn't want to bother Logan or hank, since they've been helping all day." She said and smiled some holding her stomach.16

"Two more months eh? Any pains?" Remy asked concerned.17

"Other than these false contractions, nothing major." Ororo said.18

"Good." Remy said nodding as he gently kissed down her body and placed a few kisses on her belly. "Your getting so big." He said smiling.19

"I know....I feel like my stomach's gonna pop if he gets any bigger." Ororo said frowning.20

Remy chuckled some at that comment as he helped her to her bed and lay her down. He smiled and lifted her shirt getting a bit of oil to give her a massage.21

"Mmm...oh Remy not now, I really have to get back to rearraging things." She said.22

Remy ignored her and smiled putting a bit of oil on her belly and rubbing her belly slowly used his powers to generate enough heat so that his hands felt warm giving her a relaxing massage. He soon had Ororo moaning in pleasure at how good the massage felt as she breathed lightly and he smiled massaging the rest of her body watching her fall asleep after.23

"Sleep well Stormy." He said kissing her cheek.
