RRRRRRRRRRINNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGG! 3
Eddy’s alarm clock went off. 7:00 AM it read while it shook. Eddy, with all his energy, turned the alarm clock off, and got out of bed. Eddy was all grown up now, if you haven’t noticed. 17 and proud of it, he took off his PJ’s, picked a towel off his dresser, and walked out of his room to take a shower. 4
30 MINUTES LATER... 5
Eddy was already outside. He was sitting on the sidewalk in front of his house, waiting for his friends to pick him up. 6
"Geez, it's been 15 minutes," Eddy said as he looked at golden watch he earned, thanks to his summer job at the candy store. 7
7:54 AM 8
"Where the hell are they?!" 9
Eddy had to wait another couple of minytes, until a read van finally stopped in front of him. Eddy quickly got up, and went inside. 10
Pretty soon, he realized that since Double Dee was driving the van, that it was his car. Ed was sitting in the back with Eddy. 11
Eddy hang out with Double Dee the entire summer, and he NEVER seen the van Double Dee's now driving. 12
"Now, I know what you're thinking," Double Dee said as he turned on the radio. A techno song came on immediately. 13
"You, me, and Ed spent the entire summer with me, and you never recalled seeing this van?" 14
Eddy sighed quietly, as he hated how Double Dee correctly guesses what he's thinking in his head. It's like Double Dee can read minds. 15
"....Yeah. What happened? Did your parents give it to you yesterday, or something?" 16
"Actually, yes. Yesterday after dinner, they made me go to the garage, and there it was: tall, sanitary, and I swear it was calling my name. Since I was so responsible..." 17
"Obviously," Eddy interrupted. Double Dee ignored Eddy and quickly continued. 18
"Anyways, I was so responsible, that they purchased this van, complete with cup holders..." 19
Double Dee, while temporarily driving one-handed, pushed a small, red button on top of the inside of the car, and immediately, cup holder popped up in every row. Since Eddy and Ed were in the back row, the cup holders popped up on the back of the 2nd row seats. 20
Frightened, Eddy accidentally punched Ed, making Ed grunt. 21
"Gee, I'm sorry, lumpy! Are you alright?" 22
"Yeah, Eddy, I'm ok....a little bruise, but hey, I'll be ok," Ed replied, rubbing his left cheek. 23
"A TV..." 24
Double Dee pressed the red button again, and immediately, the top of the car opened up, and a TV came down like a disco ball. Eddy and Ed "ooh"'ed. 25
"And thats pretty much it, so far. I haven't pressed the red button more than 2 time yet." 26
"Well, why can't you do it now," Eddy asked. 27
"I'm picking up one more person," Double Dee replied. "We both met at the community pool a couple of months ago, and as it turns out, she goes to the same school as us! We're just a few feet away from her house, so you two better be on your best behavior, ok?" 28
Eddy quickly scoffed. "Please! We'll be on our BEST behavior, right Ed?" 29
"Double Dee sounds like my mom on the day Aunt Antonucci came to my house." 30
Eddy, shocked, covered Ed's mouth, and looked around to see if anyone heard what Ed said. 31
"Ed....remember....her name's Ruthie, not Antonucci..." 32
"But, if I remembered correctly, That is her name, so I must be related to..." 33
"IT'S RUTHIE!!" 34
"Ooh, here she comes now," Double Dee said, excited. 35
"Eddy, be a gentleman, and open the side door when we stop, will you?" 36
Eddy quickly replied with a sigh. "Fine, whatever!"37
Eddy opened the side door as soon as the car stopped. He was shocked at what he was seeing....38

An entertaining and persuasively expressed account. Liked the settings you chose as well. Formal, well-spaced and easy to read and follow.
