1c: my favorite genre is vampire fantasy. i really haven't written many stories, so i cannot say what my favorite writing style is... if i had to choose though, it would be 3rd person with the main body a flashback. this probably my best representation of what i have written before: http://storywrite.com/story/452463

2&3: it's first person. go for the "film Noir" feel on it, because your main character is.... A Gangster! that's right. play with the cliches, have a playdate with the italian mob. tommy guns and all. pick whatever time period you like. as for your main character, he likes fancy suits, fast cars, and of course... money. so lots of thoughtfull hindsight narration. Have Fun! 4
