All is quiet
.....No sound is heard
Then comes a strange melody
..............It’s the sound of the night.1
Crickets chirp
......Wind blows
............Tree’s sway
And the music is heard.2
A car rushes past
.........It makes a noise
Like someone trying
...............To play the flute.3
A wolf in the distance
...Howls
A dog nearby sings
.............Its song back.4
The sound of the night
.......Is a strange melody indeed
But once you unwrap life
...............The gift you have is music.

This is a gorgeous poem!
I especially love how you've done the .....thing on some of the lines,it definately adds a good creative edge to it. I also like how much movement and description you've put in this through your descriptions, and how beautifully simple the whole poem is.
Overall, I really enjoyed this, well done!
